Katie Bates’ Husband Travis Clark Admits to Affair Amid Pregnancy Loss

Katie Bates and Travis Clark are navigating a difficult time in their marriage.

Just one day after revealing a heartbreaking miscarriage, the husband of a former Bringing Up Bates star confessed to infidelity.

On January 17th, Travis, 24, publicly apologized on Instagram for being unfaithful to his wife. He admitted to having an affair and repeatedly violating her trust, taking full responsibility for his actions and stating there was no justification for what he did.

He admitted that no words could truly make up for the pain he inflicted. He sincerely apologized for the hurt, embarrassment, and betrayal he caused his wife with his actions. He acknowledged that an apology wasn’t enough to fix things and that he didn’t expect or deserve her forgiveness.

Travis apologized and said he’s committed to getting help so he can be more honest and take responsibility for his actions.

“I ask for privacy and grace for Katie,” he concluded, “as she processes this in her own time.”

The day before admitting to something, Katie revealed she and Travis had recently experienced a miscarriage. They are already parents to Hailey, age 2, and Harvey, 15 months, and were expecting another child.

In an Instagram video posted on January 16th, the 25-year-old shared how she first found out she was pregnant. She revealed the news to Travis by showing him a positive pregnancy test along with a cute display: a teddy bear, white balloons, a cream-colored baby onesie, and a pair of white booties.

The video started with joyful scenes, like Hailey kissing Katie’s baby bump. But then it showed a more difficult reality: Katie at a doctor’s appointment, visibly upset and in a hospital bed. The post concluded with Katie sharing heartbreaking news – she had lost her baby – while holding a loved one’s hand.

Katie found comfort in her children, softly cradling Harvey and running her hand through his hair. Despite their presence, her sadness was clear in the post she shared, writing, “I’ll miss you forever.”
