Katy Perry has turned her sights towards new shores.
Following photos of Katy Perry kissing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on a yacht in Santa Barbara, Perry appeared to hint at a new relationship while performing in London on October 13th during her Lifetimes Tour.
During a concert, 40-year-old Katy Perry—who was once engaged to Orlando Bloom—was unexpectedly proposed to by someone in the audience, according to the Daily Mail. This happened just a day after photos of her with Justin surfaced, and Katy jokingly responded, “I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago.”
She also hinted that her normal type has perhaps shifted.
She observed that London felt particularly charming on a Monday night, especially after a long day of work or school. She playfully added that it was no surprise she often found herself attracted to English men.
She then quipped, “But not anymore.”
This is the most direct comment the singer, who shares 5-year-old Daisy Dove Bloom with Orlando Bloom, has made about her possible relationship with Justin since they were seen having dinner together in July.
Justin, who shares three children – Xavier (17), Ella-Grace (16), and Hadrien (11) – with his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoir Trudeau, had dinner with Katy at Le Violen restaurant in Montreal while Katy was on tour in Canada.
The couple had a private conversation while security personnel were discreetly nearby. The restaurant chef even came out to say hello while they were eating.
Just two days after the initial sighting, fans noticed Justin, 53, enjoying Katy’s concert in Montreal on July 30th. Pictures quickly spread online.
Although Justin hasn’t confirmed or denied rumors of a relationship with Katy, her ex-partner, Orlando, jokingly reacted to photos of their dinner. He responded with clapping emojis to a funny post that claimed he had actually dined with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Orlando Bloom, who has a 14-year-old son named Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr, recently told Craig Melvin on Today that he and Katy Perry have a loving relationship despite their breakup after nearly ten years together.
