Mark Consuelos has a bone to pick with Kelly Ripa over their Thanksgiving plans.
A former star of Riverdale recently had a disagreement with his wife, Kelly, about when to eat Thanksgiving dinner. Kelly prefers a later meal and insisted on serving it at 6 p.m., sparking a debate after 28 years of marriage.
Kelly jokingly told her husband on the November 26th episode of Live With Kelly and Mark that if he didn’t like something, he could make a sandwich because dinner was at 6 p.m.
Mark, age 54, wasn’t happy with the response he’d received, so he turned to the audience. When he asked if Thanksgiving dinner should be served before six o’clock, they answered with enthusiastic applause.
Kelly, 55, jokingly called her family “psychopaths” when explaining their unusual Thanksgiving tradition. Apparently, when they attempted to carve the turkey early, no one would eat leftovers later that day. Now, she makes sure dinner is served at a normal time, ensuring everyone enjoys it then and there.
She playfully corrected him, pointing out that Thanksgiving dinner is traditionally eaten as⊠well, dinner. âIf you have a problem with that,â she added with a challenge, âwhy donât you host Thanksgiving next year?â
Mark believes having Thanksgiving dinner earlier is easier on the cook, because it feels like preparing just one meal.
He explained that leftovers should be put in the fridge, and when anyone gets hungry at dinner, they can simply eat those leftovers â thereâs no need to prepare anything else.

For the first time in two decades, with her children no longer starting school, Kelly revisited a memory from 2008 to occupy her time.

Oh my gosh, this picture Dad posted for Lola’s 19th birthday in 2020 is everything! It looks like Michael is totally about to playfully sneak up on his little sister, and it’s just the cutest thing ever! I can’t stop looking at it!

Joaquin is surrounded by love at his high school graduation.

Kelly jokingly shared that @instasuelos learned he won’t be living with @joaquinconsuelos when Joaquin starts college at the University of Michigan this fall. She mentioned this while visiting Ann Arbor.
In March 2022, Kelly took a short vacation to Detroit to see the Wolverines compete in the Division 1 Wrestling Championships.
Even though Joaquin was only a first-year student and didn’t compete in wrestling this time, Kelly admitted on a live broadcast after returning that watching the young athletes was incredibly stressful and aged her significantly.

After having to postpone their trip due to the pandemic in 2020, the family was finally able to visit Greece and Italy in June 2021.
Kelly said that what started as a graduation trip for her oldest son and niece ended up becoming a celebration for the newest members of the family, as the trip was delayed long enough for the babies to arrive.

Kelly loved a family photo taken during their Mediterranean vacation so much that she used it for their 2021 holiday card.

Kelly shared an old Easter photo from 2012, jokingly referencing her teenage child’s often-disapproving reactions, with the caption, ‘Happy Easter from 2012 because Lola approved this photo.’ She frequently teases her teen on social media.

Mark wished the “spectacular women” in his life a happy International Women’s Day.Â

“Happy Valentine’s Day to the loves of my life!” Kelly wrote from the heart on Feb. 14, 2022.

Kelly celebrated the fruits of her labor on National Sons Day, Sept. 28, 2021.

In 2021, Kelly Ripa’s son, Michael Consuelos, shared a heartwarming throwback photo with his mom to celebrate her 51st birthday. He wrote a sweet message wishing her a great day, calling her a strong inspiration and playfully reminding her that when he compares her to a T. Rex, it’s meant as a compliment.

Okay, so you will NOT believe this! Kelly Ripa posted the most amazing thing on Instagram back in August 2020. She totally recreated a family photo from 2003, and it was perfect! She had little Joaquin on her lap, and Michael and Lola were right where they were supposed to be. It was a flawless match, even though Kelly joked that things might look a little bigger now â can you even imagine?! I’ve seriously looked at it a million times, it’s just the cutest!

In May 2020, Kelly and Mark celebrated their oldest son Michaelâs graduation from New York University. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the ceremony was held virtually. Kelly shared her joy on Instagram, writing about Michael, âAnd just like that, you graduated! The happiness and pride youâve brought our family are beyond words. I love you so much.â

As a mom, it’s amazing how quickly time flies! I was just looking back at some old photos â a ‘throwback’ to 2011 versus 2019 â and realized how much my kids have grown. I even joked in my Instagram post that the walls seem smaller now! It’s a sweet reminder of how fast they’re growing up.

“The Graduate #2019,” Kelly wrote on Instagram celebrating Lola’s final days of high school.Â

Kelly receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015 was an all-hands-on-deck event.

Kelly matched her son’s gown and the flowers at Joaquin’s middle school graduation.

When your family is this beautiful, you would likely be posing for selfies more often than not too.Â

Holidays always bring family together and this famous crew is no exception.Â

In 2003, Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, attended the opening night of the play A Year With Frog and Toad at Maxine’s in New York City.

In 2001, Mark and Kelly brought their son to the premiere of Atlantis: The Lost Empire at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.

This family always manages to have fun, no matter where they go â whether it’s a warm, tropical destination or a chilly, snowy one.
