Khloé Kardashian will always stand up for her family.

Khloud Foods founder faced backlash online after signing up Amari Thompson, the brother of Tristan Thompson, for dance lessons. Amari has a serious form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS).

Khloé recently responded to negative comments she received after sharing a video of her son, Amari, in dance class. She said people questioned his dancing and whether he understood what he was doing, adding that such criticism was unnecessary and unwanted. She shared these thoughts in a video on her Instagram Stories on December 13th.

The Kardashian star explained that people shouldn’t offer opinions about someone with special needs unless they understand their interests and what brings them joy. She also said that if someone doesn’t enjoy this kind of content, they’re welcome to simply not watch it, and everyone is happy with that.

As a mom, I just have to share how proud I am of my son, Amari! He’s been taking dance classes at Carousel Dance Studio in Los Angeles, and it’s been so heartwarming to watch him grow. The instructors are amazing – they even got him involved in a fun High School Musical dance number, and it was adorable seeing him shine!

In another photo, Amari is pictured with Khloé and his dance teachers. Khloé, host of Khloé in Wonder Land, shared her appreciation for the studio and the people who run it, saying, “I’m so grateful for places like this and the people behind them!”

Khloé Kardashian recently explained her decision to care for her niece and nephew, Amari and Tatum, after their mother, Andrea Thompson, passed away. Khloé shares two children, 7-year-old True and 3-year-old Tatum, with Tristan Thompson.

Khloe shared on her podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land, that she and Tristan’s mother became close friends. She had a good relationship with Andrea, and often assisted her with Amari’s medical needs, like finding doctors and getting advice.

Before she passed away, Andrea was the only person caring for Amari. After her unexpected death in 2023, Tristan, a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, was given temporary guardianship of his brother. However, because of Tristan’s frequent travel as an NBA player, Khloé was able to provide Amari with a more stable home life.

She explained that frequent air travel isn’t good for Amari, as he experiences several seizures each day.

She explained that Amari will be staying with her in Los Angeles, and she’s decided to be his primary caregiver. She also mentioned she has two wonderful people helping with his care, whom she cares for deeply.

Khloé Kardashian, founder of Good American, stated that even though her relationship with Tristan Thompson has been difficult, she will always support their son, Amari.

She explained that her long-standing family relationships were completely separate from the situation with Andrea and Tristan. Her dedication to Andrea wasn’t influenced by Tristan at all.

In January 2022, Tristan Thompson publicly acknowledged that he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ son after a paternity test. He issued an apology to Khloé Kardashian, stating that she didn’t deserve the pain and embarrassment he’d caused, and that his behavior hadn’t matched how he felt about her.
