Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair Trailer Teases Quentin Tarantino’s Full Vision, And It’s A Must-See Even If You’ve Watched Vol. 1 And 2 A Million Times

With Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, Quentin Tarantino is offering something more than just a re-release. Originally, he envisioned Kill Bill as one complete film, but was asked to divide it into two parts (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2) released separately. While those two films are great, they don’t quite represent Tarantino’s original intent. This December, fans will finally have the chance to see Kill Bill as he always meant it to be seen. Even if you’re familiar with both volumes, The Whole Bloody Affair promises a unique and worthwhile cinematic experience.

Lionsgate just dropped the trailer for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, giving fans a preview of the movie hitting theaters in less than a month. As announced previously, this unrated version will include special features like an intermission and a brand-new anime segment – one that’s never been shown anywhere, even at Quentin Tarantino’s own theaters in Los Angeles (the New Beverly and The Vista).

At 271 minutes long – including a 15-minute intermission for a break, something the director previously did with The Hateful EightKill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is a lengthy film. That’s why it was originally released in two parts, but it’s still a movie worth dedicating an entire evening to.

Without giving away too many details, the Crazy 88 fight in The Whole Bloody Affair is much more intense than before. It’s longer, and unlike the original, it doesn’t switch to black and white – a change made to avoid a more restrictive rating. We’ve also made substantial changes to the ending of Volume 1 and the beginning of Volume 2, which will create a surprising shift in the story’s pacing.

The extended version of Kill Bill, titled Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, hits theaters December 5th. It’s releasing alongside the new Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 movie, which will likely draw big crowds, but don’t miss the chance to see Uma Thurman’s action-packed revenge story on the big screen. It’s a lot of fun, and this version might not be available in theaters again.
