Kim Kardashian Honors Late Friend Lindsay May With Moving Message

Kim Kardashian is paying tribute to a lifelong friend.

Kardashian celebrity paid tribute to Lindsay May, her childhood friend and entertainment advisor, through a touching message on social media, approximately eight months following Lindsay’s death.

On your birthday, though you’ve never been one for grand celebrations, I wanted to say Happy Astral Birthday, Lindz. I’ve held off posting this for months, as words seemed inadequate. The silence in our usual conversations is palpable without you, and I know you might find it odd that I’m posting anything given your minimal social media presence. However, the lake trip felt incomplete without your presence, and I needed to express that.” – Kim, July 6 Instagram post

Kim, who earlier verified that Lindsay had passed away after a long fight with cancer, went on to describe the unique feel of their recent group excursion in her absence.

The lake was your special spot – it brought you joy and made you feel better, more vibrant… it was where you truly were yourself,” the SKIMS founder penned. “We’ve always cherished our annual tradition there because it offers us precious time with all our children, moments of genuine connection without any distractions from the outside world. This year, your absence was felt in every sunset, every shared laugh, and every quiet moment.

Kim concluded her post expressing the deep longing that The Lifers, a collective including Allison Statter, Zoe Winkler, Sarah Meyer Michaelson, Ashley Kassan, and Simone Harouche, have for Lindsay. They are cherishing their memories with her.

Reflecting on these photos taken a year ago, Kim expressed deep gratitude for all the cherished moments we shared. She misses Lindz immensely and feels the void left by her absence. It seems that’s why she clings so dearly to their lake tradition. Regardless of what happens, they will always have the lake, and in that, they will forever hold a piece of Lindz.

After Lindsay publicized a charity event initiated by Simone, who was selling the “The Linz” brand of Citizens of Humanity jeans to fund cancer research in memory of their deceased childhood friend, the 44-year-old penned a letter to her.

She mentioned, “I found myself often in a state of bewilderment, yet deeply appreciative of each moment in my life, despite being a bit of a worn-out phrase, it still rings true. You’re always by my side, and I sense your presence constantly.

Kim commented at the time, “I felt this so deep.”

She expressed, “I often seemed lost in thought, yet deeply appreciative of each moment in this life (though it’s a common phrase, it truly resonates). You are constantly by my side, and your presence is always felt by me.
