King Charles Visits Andrew’s New Home After Stripping His Royal Titles

King Charles III is taking a look at his younger brother’s new residence.

Following the announcement that Prince Andrew would lose his royal titles and move out of his home at Windsor Castle, King Charles visited his brother’s new residence just one day later.

I was so pleased to hear that the King, at 76, enjoyed a drive around his Sandringham estate. It’s wonderful to know Prince Andrew, who’s 65, will be living there soon too – a lovely setup for everyone, I think!

Earlier in October, Andrew had already said he would stop using his royal titles because of ongoing questions about his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and accusations of sexual abuse – accusations he consistently denies. However, the Palace’s announcement on October 30th went even further.

Beyond being asked to leave his royal home, Charles announced that Andrew will no longer be known as Prince Andrew, and will instead go by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, along with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, will continue to use their royal titles.

Today, the King officially began the process of stripping Prince Andrew of his royal titles and honors. This action is being taken despite the Prince continuing to maintain his innocence regarding the accusations against him.

Even though Andrew and Sarah lived together at the Royal Lodge, they won’t be living together at Sandringham. Sarah, who stopped using her Duchess of York title when Andrew announced this, will be making her own living arrangements.

Although the official announcement came on October 30th, Andrew had already stated he would stop using his royal titles – including Prince, Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, and Baron Killyleagh – and his style of “His Royal Highness” two weeks earlier. He also relinquished his honors, such as the Order of the Garter and Knight Grand Cross of the Victorian Order.

Look, I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – I absolutely deny these accusations. I truly believe I’ve done nothing wrong, and that’s where I stand on this whole thing. It’s important to me to be clear about that.

Following Prince Andrew’s decision to step down from using his Duke of York title, King Charles III announced that his brother would also lose his home at Royal Lodge and no longer be known as a Prince.

Buckingham Palace announced today that King Charles has begun the process of stripping Prince Andrew of his royal titles and honors. He will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has announced he will no longer use the title Duke of York. This decision comes because of ongoing public concern about his connection to the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

After talking with The King and my family, I’ve decided the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Andrew said in a statement. “As I’ve always done, I’m prioritizing my family and country. Therefore, I stand by my decision to step back from public duties, which I made five years ago.”

Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking things a step further. He would be giving up his royal title and any honors he had received. He also reaffirmed that he strongly denied the claims made against him.

As someone who’s observed family dynamics for years, I can definitely relate to wanting to bridge gaps. Prince Harry has expressed a real desire to reconnect with his father and brother, which is lovely to hear. Ultimately, though, it seems he’s letting his dad take the lead – he’s hoping for a gesture from their side to start things moving again. It’s a delicate situation, and putting the ball in someone else’s court can be a tough, but sometimes necessary, step.

He stated he doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness that his children won’t have the chance to experience his home country with him.

Harry explained that his father has significant influence and could potentially solve the situation. He suggested this wouldn’t require direct involvement, but rather allowing professionals to handle things without interference.

After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is too short, and my father doesn’t have much time left.”
