I’m so excited! AMATA Games and Noto Muteki just announced that Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau, the horror action game, is coming to the Switch 2 in 2026. I’ve been waiting for this!
Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau was initially released on PC through Steam on October 4, 2024, and later became available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on July 15, 2025.

Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau is a Japanese horror game played from a third-person perspective. You take on the role of someone who fights against ghosts and spirits.
Unlike traditional Japanese horror games where you’re defenseless against ghosts, in Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau, you’re a powerful force – just as dangerous as the spirits you face!
Gameplay Mechanics
- The main gameplay consists of unarmed combat, gun shooting, and stealth action.
- There are a total of 10 stages to clear.
- The game includes plenty of story-driven cutscenes.
- Four difficulty settings are available, allowing players from beginners to advanced to enjoy the game repeatedly.
- The button configuration for game controllers can be freely changed, enabling personalized play.
- As a feature unique to the Nintendo Switch 2 version, the game now supports mouse-like pointer controls using the Joy-Con 2.
