I’m so excited! Konami just revealed they’re working on a new RPG called Rev. NOiR for the PlayStation 5. They haven’t said when it’ll come out yet, but I’m already looking forward to it!
So, I just found out this game was made by Nobuki Kadoi, and that name definitely rings a bell! He used to work at Square Enix on some pretty cool titles – I remember playing Drakengard 2, Gunslinger Stratos, and Lord of Vermillion. Definitely gives me some good vibes about this new game knowing his history.
During today’s State of Play, Kadoi announced Rev. NOiR, a brand-new JRPG. The game is being developed by a team of dedicated fans, including Kadoi himself, who want to capture the heart of classic JRPGs. They’re focusing on strong relationships, character development, and emotional moments, and hope players will feel the thrill of starting a new adventure. The trailer released today was just a small glimpse of what’s to come, and the team promises to share more updates soon.
