Donkey Kong Bananza introduces the initial Challenge Course on the Canyon Layer titled “Kong Bananza: City Smash.” In this level, your objective is to completely destroy a structure, but you must complete the demolition within 60 seconds. If you aim for a perfect score of 100%, you’ll need to work even faster! Don’t worry, though; this guide will provide all the information necessary to help you achieve that goal.
Kong Bananza: City Smash Guide | Donkey Kong Bananza
To achieve this level, destroy 100% within 40 seconds to secure two Banandium Gems immediately. If you manage the destruction in under 60 seconds but over 40, you’ll receive one banana gem. Therefore, aim for speed to collect them both at once!
To conquer this obstacle effectively, concentrate on reinforcing the structural foundations of the edifice. This will help increase your progress rate the quickest. As you weaken a pillar, keep circulating around the building while demolishing walls as you advance towards the next container. Remember not to dwell too much on the walls and maintain your momentum!
By swiftly shattering the main pillar on this level, you’ll accelerate the destruction process significantly. Once demolished, it should bring the overall damage up to 100%, effectively completing the task and reducing the structure entirely.
If you still have 20 seconds or more left on your timer, you’re qualified to receive not one but two Banandium Gems. You can find these gems near the level’s entrance; all you have to do is tap them to gather them!
To find the last Banandium Gem, simply excavate the soil at the location where the central pillar once stood. Since it’s the sole patch of soil across the entire level and positioned right smack in the center, you shouldn’t have any trouble spotting it.
