Kourtney Kardashian is standing her ground when it comes to her youngest son’s privacy.
Following a discussion about the Lemme founder’s choice to keep her and Travis Barker’s son, Rocky Thirteen Barker’s, face hidden on social media, Kourtney Kardashian offered a gentle response.
The discussion started after a Kardashian shared Halloween photos on Instagram on October 17th. One photo showed her 23-month-old son, Rocky, sitting in a vintage car with a jack-o’-lantern face added to the image.
“Still acting like we care,” one use wrote, “what the kid looks like.”
People immediately defended Kourtney online, and one fan even pointed out to the critic that their comment actually showed they cared.
Kourtney even gave the comment her approval by liking it.
Kourtney’s older children—15-year-old Mason, 13-year-old Penelope, and 10-year-old Reign—have frequently been featured on her social media and in her family’s reality TV shows, like Keeping Up With the Kardashians and, more recently, The Kardashians. Unlike Rocky, these children, who Kourtney shares with her ex, Scott Disick, are accustomed to being in the public eye.
Travis Barker has shared photos over the years of his stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, and his children, Landon Barker and Alabama Barker (with ex-wife Shanna Moakler), both on social media and on their family’s reality show, Meet the Barkers. Now, he’s explaining why he and Kourtney Kardashian are choosing to keep their son Rocky’s life private.
He told the Wall Street Journal that someone had finally managed to photograph their son, who has been pursued by paparazzi, and they prefer to keep him private, in an interview published in September 2024.

The reality star went on to say, “You keep us safe, protect us, and take such good care of us. Being a family with you feels like a dream come true. Happy to be celebrating you!”
