Kristen Bell hopes everyone will let those salary rumors go.
After news spread that the actress was earning $60 million for playing Anna in the next Frozen movies, she responded to the rumors.
Kristen Bell, 45, recently clarified some inaccurate reports about a potential Frozen project. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the Actor Awards (formerly the SAG Awards) on March 1st, she stated firmly, “That’s somebody making a lot of things up.”
She expressed her happiness with the job, noting it’s part of a thriving franchise and provides good income. She added that she’s very thankful for the opportunity and would happily continue working there for as long as they’ll let her.
The actress known for Veronica Mars joked about her reaction to hearing how much someone was paid, saying she’d happily build a snowman for that amount of money.
“Wasn’t that ridiculous when you heard it?” she asked. “I was completely surprised when I read it!”
While fans eagerly anticipate the next Frozen movie, Kristen Bell has been keeping busy with other exciting projects. She recently hosted the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles. Kristen and her husband, Dax Shepard, are parents to Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11.
As for how she wears so many hats?

Oh my gosh, she’s just the sweetest! She was talking about how lucky she is with her family, and it totally melted my heart. She said they’re so supportive of everything she wants to do, all her hopes and dreams! And it’s not just one-way either – she’s right there cheering them on too. Seriously, family goals right there. It’s just… perfect!
She also emphasized the strength of her team, both in writing and production. She explained that no one could handle everything alone, and maintaining balance requires peace, meditation, and staying calm amidst the chaos.
But her family may be ready for the exciting milestone to be in the past.

Last year’s event included a re-recorded song from the movie Frozen. But this year, the performer, known for Nobody Wants This, acknowledged the event’s new name.
I thought this would be a good moment to discuss updating how we refer to the performers, so I’m going to suggest some name changes,” she explained. “Since the show is now called the Actor Awards, after being known as the SAG Awards, they’ve gone through a rebranding, and I think it might be helpful if the actors did the same.”
