After filing for divorce from Desmond Scott after 12 years of marriage, the TikTok creator finally spoke about the separation and revealed how he’s been handling her decision to start a new phase in her life.

Kristy took her sons, Vance, 7, and Westin, 6, grocery shopping, sharing the experience in a video posted to Instagram on January 29th. The outing felt especially meaningful following her recent public split from their father.

She admitted she was very shaky and nervous while filming. ‘My nerves are completely frazzled,’ she explained, ‘and have been for about a month now.’

Oh my gosh, it’s just…Kristy’s been going through so much, and it’s not just little things like getting the kids to soccer practice. She actually said she’s thinking about changing the kind of videos she makes! I’m so curious to see what she does, honestly. It’s like, she’s being so real with us, and I’m just here for it, you know?

I’m not trying to get upset, but I think this situation will show you a side of me you haven’t seen before. Usually, I’m all fun and chaos, but I just don’t have the energy for that right now.

She went on to explain that she wanted to be completely honest and share her experiences, including the difficult parts, as she goes through this change.

Kristy realized her typical funny, stunt-based videos didn’t feel right for what she’s going through now. She explained, “I just don’t feel like doing flips around the house at the moment.”

Although the 30-year-old admitted she’s still adjusting after the breakup, she also said things have calmed down between her and Desmond, 32.

“Thankfully, there’s not really any drama right now,” she said, “so we’re in the clear.”

According to court documents obtained by People magazine on January 10th, Kristy filed for divorce from Desmond, stating that infidelity led to their separation.

Soon after, Desmond announced the breakup on social media, taking responsibility for decisions they regretted.

He announced on Instagram on January 10th that he had taken responsibility for his actions, personally discussed the situation with his soon-to-be ex-wife, and they had decided to divorce. He asked for privacy and understanding as they both move forward.
