Kylie Kelce Slams “Bounce Back” Comments After Baby No. 4

Kylie Kelce is not gonna lie when it comes to the “bounce back” conversation.

Indeed, the podcast host, who is a mother to Wyatt (age 5), Elliotte (age 4), Bennett (age 2), and Finnley (just 3 months old), along with her husband Jason Kelce, prefers to avoid conversations about a woman’s body during pregnancy or at any other time.

She mentioned during her July 17th episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast that it’s unnecessary to discuss a woman’s physical condition during her postpartum period. Instead, she emphasized, we should focus more on the general wellness of women after childbirth.

She added, “I don’t think that we need to bounce back.”

And although the phrase has been said to Kylie as a compliment, it’s not one she needs to hear.

She understood your good intentions, but to be honest, if I appeared as I do now without having recently given birth for the fourth time, would you still comment that I look tired? The truth is, I am extremely exhausted.

She explored the differences, comparing herself not only with other women but also with her previous self before pregnancy.

“I feel like the worst piece about the bouncing back is that it is comparison to either your body before you had kids or people around you,” the 33-year-old said. “Cut it out. We do not need to compare ourselves, ladies.”

 
Ultimately, as Kylie put it, “There is beauty in the fact that we are unique from each other.”
