A new documentary series on Channel 4 will premiere in a few weeks, charting Tony Blair’s journey from his early career through his time as Prime Minister and beyond. It promises an in-depth look at his life and career.
The story of Tony Blair starts on Channel 4 on Tuesday, February 17th at 9pm, with the next two parts airing on the 18th and 19th.
After the first episode airs, the full series will be available to stream on Channel4.com.
The documentary series was first announced in May of last year. It will include a detailed interview with Tony Blair, along with perspectives from people who knew him well – including his friends, supporters, and those who disagreed with him.

This program cuts through the political hype and media frenzy to offer a new look at the man who revolutionized the Labour Party and changed Britain.
This series delves deeper than news reports to examine the pivotal events that defined Tony Blair’s time as Prime Minister, offering a fascinating look at a hugely impactful leader.
This series comes from 72 Films, the company that created documentaries like The Rise and Fall of Boris Johnson and The Zelensky Story (which aired on BBC Two). They’ve also produced notable programs such as Vietnam: The War That Changed America and Oklahoma City Bombing: One Day in America.
This won’t be the first documentary about the former prime minister; the BBC already made one in 2021 called Blair & Brown: The New Labour Revolution.
