Breaking News! Here’s an exciting update: The popular series, previously known as “The Paper,” is set for a new edition. Initially, it was announced that the workplace mockumentary series, reminiscent of “The Office” and featuring a documentary crew chronicling the employees at a struggling newspaper in Toledo, Ohio, would release two episodes per week every Thursday, following a four-episode premiere. However, on Thursday, the platform changed its strategy, adopting a Netflix-style model for “The Paper.
Starting September 4, the entire first season of “The Paper” will be available for viewing. Approximately a month ago, it was announced that Peacock would initially air four episodes on September 4, followed by two-episode releases each Thursday up until September 25, but now all episodes will be released simultaneously.
There wasn’t any explanation provided for the switch. Instead, The Paper has joined the trend of releasing all episodes simultaneously, similar to Netflix series like The Bear (FX/Hulu) and Fallout (Prime Video).
