Lauren Sánchez expanded her family when she tied the knot with Jeff Bezos in 2025.
During their wedding in Venice, Sánchez carefully assigned significant roles to her three children: her sons escorted her during the ceremony, and her daughter took on the role of maid of honor.
In the early 2000s, Camila Sánchez was in a relationship with Tony Gonzalez, a former NFL player. They had a son named Nikko in 2001, but split up the following year. Later, in 2005, Sánchez married Patrick Whitesell and they had two children together – Evan in 2006 and Ella in 2008. Unfortunately, their marriage also ended. It’s worth noting that Jeff Bezos, her current partner, has four children with his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.

Tony Gonzalez
Although Gonzalez and Sánchez separated in 2002, they’ve managed to maintain a cordial relationship as they co-parent their son Nikko. Since then, Gonzalez has gotten married to his current wife, October Gonzalez.
She shared to The Wall Street Journal in 2023, “Tony and his wife are my dearest friends.” She added, “Our friendship wasn’t always like this. There were tensions initially. However, Tony and Tobie joined us for Thanksgiving this year, and now we have a wonderful friendship.
Sánchez pointed out that it required roughly five years for the co-parenting families to reach their current state.
She emphasized that having your ex as a best friend isn’t necessarily a must, but effective communication is essential. She expressed her pride, stating, ‘I feel so proud when I see my son looking at me and saying, ‘I am the most fortunate boy in the world because I get to celebrate Thanksgiving with both my parents, and they don’t have to be married.’
Sanchez added October to the guest list for her glamorous May 2025 bachelorette party, which she’s planning before marrying Bezos. Sanchez and Bezos have also extended invitations to Tony and October for their June 2025 wedding.
Patrick Whitesell
In the year 2005, Sánchez and Whitesell exchanged marriage vows. Over a decade passed before they decided to part ways in 2019. Since then, he has tied the knot with Pia Whitesell.
Jeff Bezos
Bezos welcomed four children with ex-wife Scott before saying “I do” to Sánchez in June 2025.
Nikko Gonzalez
In 2001, Sánchez had her oldest child, Nikko, during a relationship with Tony. However, their relationship ended in the year 2002.
Evan Whitesell
In 2006, Sánchez and Patrick became parents to son Evan. Before Sánchez married Bezos in 2025, they threw an extravagant foam party on their $500 million superyacht for Evan’s birthday. Later, at the wedding, it was Evan – accompanied by brother Nikko – who walked Sánchez down the aisle.
Ella Whitesell
In 2008, Ella became a member of the Sánchez-Patrick family. Later, she stood as the maid of honor at Sánchez’s wedding with Bezos in 2025.
