Layla Taylor, Miranda Hope Speak Out After Taylor Frankie Paul Video

Layla Taylor and Miranda Hope are sharing their perspective.

Following the issues surrounding their Secret Lives of Mormon Wives co-star, Taylor Frankie Paul – including a police investigation into a fight with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, and the surfacing of video from a 2023 physical altercation between them – the women from “MomTok” shared their responses.

In a recent post on Instagram, Layla explained that her own experiences as a survivor compel her to speak out against domestic violence. She strongly condemns it and is especially concerned for the well-being and safety of the children involved.

Meanwhile, Miranda admitted she’s been at “a loss for words” as the situation has unfolded.

Miranda shared on Instagram on March 20th that she’s been deeply upset by recent events. She made it clear she strongly condemns domestic violence and abuse in all forms, stating that as both a person and a mother, she cannot tolerate such behavior.

Like Layla, Miranda has shown support for Taylor’s four children – three with her ex, Tate Paul, and one with Dakota – as Taylor navigates the fallout from recent events, including the cancellation of her season of The Bachelorette. Production on season five of Mormon Wives was also paused in February when Utah police began investigating a reported domestic incident between Taylor and Dakota.

“I hope they’re safe,” Miranda wrote, “supported, and surrounded by love.”

Taylor pleaded guilty to assault in 2023 and is currently on probation until August for the incident shown in a video released by TMZ on March 19th. After the video surfaced, a spokesperson for Taylor stated that it lacked important context and was part of an effort to damage Taylor’s reputation.

After ABC officially decided to postpone Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette, her representative released a statement to TopMob News saying she appreciated the network’s support.

Taylor has been quietly enduring significant mental and physical abuse, along with threats, for years. Now, she’s finding the courage to confront the person responsible and is taking action to keep herself and her children safe.

In a statement to TopMob News on March 19th, Dakota described the situation as “deeply upsetting.”

He said he’s become accustomed to false accusations regarding him and their relationship, and he firmly denies them. His priority is their son’s well-being, and he hopes Taylor will focus on that as well.
