Le Creuset Drops Wicked Expensive Dutch Ovens Inspired by Elphaba and Glinda

To mark the release of Wicked: For Good, the movie finale to Wicked, which arrives in theaters on November 21st, Universal is releasing a wide variety of merchandise. Items range from a small Polly Pocket to a luxurious Le Creuset Wicked collection, including Elphaba and Glinda designed as high-end 4.5 quart Dutch ovens. While they might add a little magic to your cooking, this special touch will come with a significant cost.

The Elphaba dutch oven is dark green with her image pressed into the lid, and features a matte black interior – ideal for reflecting the character’s transformation in the final movie.

You can also find Glinda’s dutch oven in a delicate pink, also with her silhouette embossed on the lid. Its interior has a white matte finish. Both are remarkably beautiful – considering they’re pots!

Okay, So How Much Will These Wicked Dutch Ovens Cost?





If you enjoy belting out DEFYYYING GRAVITY while you’re in the kitchen, check out Le Crueset’s website – they currently have each oven priced at $450. You might even want to buy both to use them together! Don’t worry too much about the price; these are only about $50 more than a Signature Round Dutch Oven from Le Crueset, and they feature more detailed designs.

The last trailer for Wicked: For Good came out a few days ago, and it includes some key scenes that show important character developments in the movie. As we’ve already seen in previous trailers, the Wizard of Oz characters – Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man – will play a significant role, connecting the two stories. Both the Tin Man and the Scarecrow feature prominently in the trailer.
