LEGO has been building incredible scenes and items from The Lord of the Rings, like The Shire and Rivendell, and they’re adding another famous location to their collection. This year, LEGO will release a beautiful model of Minas Tirith, which is also the largest Lord of the Rings LEGO set ever made.
The new LEGO set, The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith, will be available in stores on June 4, 2026, and it’s incredibly detailed, as you can see in the pictures. This large-scale model of the city features a fully detailed interior and is made up of an impressive 8278 pieces! This makes it the biggest Lord of the Rings LEGO set ever, surpassing the previous record of 6197 pieces held by the Rivendell set. While it doesn’t quite reach the size of the retired World Map set (which had 11695 pieces), it’s still a massive and beautiful build.

Everything included In The Minas Tirith Lord of the Rings Set

The Minis Tirith set is incredibly detailed, even if it doesn’t break any records for the number of bricks used. You can build a stunning recreation of Gondor’s famous capital city, with a complete, wraparound design. Just inside the main gate, you’ll discover lots of little details and spaces for minifigures to play. The city culminates in a beautifully designed courtyard that extends from the central structure.

As you explore the city, you’ll discover the throne room, decorated like a royal palace. There are also smaller rooms and balconies along the way as you ascend.
This set includes 10 minifigures of beloved characters from The Lord of the Rings, like Gandalf the White, Faramir, and Aragorn (as King Elessar), along with Arwen, Peregrin Took, and 4 Gondor Soldiers. It also features a Shadowfax horse figure and lots of accessories inspired by the movies, such as Gondor helmets and shields, and Aragorn’s crown. You can find more details in the official description.

Build the magnificent city of Minas Tirith from The Lord of the Rings with the LEGO Icons set (11377). This impressive model is perfect for adult fans and collectors. It uniquely combines detailed exterior micro-building with richly detailed minifigure interiors, letting you explore the throne room, discover hidden features, and marvel at the White City’s towering structures.

The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith set retails for $649.99, and it will release on June 4, 2026.
