Leni Klum Reveals Her Costume at Heidi Klum’s Halloween Party 2025

Leni Klum took a page out of a book for Halloween.

While her mom went for a scary Medusa costume, Heidi Klum chose a playful and memorable look at her mother’s yearly Halloween party on October 31st. She dressed as Camilla Cream, a character from the 1998 children’s book A Bad Case of the Stripes.

Leni’s costume featured rainbow stripes painted directly onto her body. She paired this with a white tank top and shorts, a black curly wig, and a pink bow. As a final touch, she carried a copy of a book by David Shannon.

Following the event, Leni showed fans a quick look at how her costume was created, revealing she had makeup artists paint her. She jokingly captioned a post on November 1st, saying she was staying home because she was feeling unwell.

Leni always looks forward to her mom’s party, and this year was no exception. It was only the fourth time she’s gotten to attend, making it a particularly special occasion.

In 2022, 18-year-old Leni told TopMob News she was thrilled her mom was finally letting her come inside. She’d been asking for years and couldn’t wait to celebrate, dance, and see her mom face-to-face.

Ever since her iconic role as Catwoman in the 1992 film Batman Returns, she’s consistently impressed with her creative costumes. This year, at a party where Heidi Klum dressed as a peacock and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, was an egg, she showed up as a revealing Strawberry Shortcake.

I absolutely loved last year’s costumes! Leni really paid tribute to her mom with this incredible alien look – a super shiny metallic suit and these amazing antennas! And Simon and his partner were just brilliant as E.T. and E.T.’s companion from the classic 1982 movie. They were totally ready to ‘phone home’!

Heidi – who shares teenage children Henry, Johan, and Lou with her ex-husband Seal – used creative methods to portray these beloved, classic characters. How did she do it?

She told TopMob it had taken a full year of preparation. They began this morning at 10 a.m., finishing their final preparations and arriving just moments ago.

While she loved bringing the wrinkly alien to life, it wasn’t easy being in the suit.

She described how incredibly heavy the elaborate headpiece felt while wearing it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in August, explaining that it stretched from the back of her head to the front and she worried it would break her neck.

Heidi, age 52, doesn’t mind the effort she puts into her costumes. She’s loved Halloween for many years, so it’s all worth it to her.

She shared with The Hollywood Reporter in 2018 that she instantly loved Halloween after moving to the United States, but felt something was missing: a great party. She saw it as a perfect chance to create one.

And she hopes that her elaborate looks as the host will inspire her guests to follow suit.

You know, I think the party’s success really comes down to people just going all out with their costumes over the years – they’ve gotten more and more creative! It’s become something of a legend, honestly – an epic Halloween event. And I truly believe my own passion for Halloween has rubbed off on others, inspiring them to embrace the holiday too.
