Leon Must Die Forever Is Resident Evil Requiem’s New Mini Game, Out Now on PS5

Capcom has launched a new mini-game for Resident Evil Requiem called ‘Leon Must Die Forever,’ now available to download on PS5. It’s a fast-paced time attack mode where players control Leon through stages, using special abilities to beat the clock.

We’ll have a more detailed look later, but you can get a first impression of it in the video below.

Once you finish the game, a new mode becomes available that’s built for tons of replayability with different difficulty levels. It’s a fast-paced experience, separate from the main story, and offers a lot of challenge. Can you survive and beat the boss before time runs out? Capcom promises an incredibly difficult mode that will really push even skilled Resident Evil players to their limits.

The action sequences in Leon’s parts of Resident Evil Requiem are among the best in the whole series, and this new mode lets you practice and experiment with his combat skills. The Resident Evil games have always included fun side modes, and ‘The Mercenaries’ is the most well-known example.

Okay, so Leon Must Die Forever isn‘t a full story experience just yet, it’s really all about the fighting. But the good news is Capcom has said they’re planning a big update for Resident Evil Requiem later on that will focus on the story. I’m really excited about that!
