
Liam Hemsworth is the new Geralt of Rivia, stepping into the role previously held by Henry Cavill. He was initially unsure about taking on the lead in a show with such a dedicated and enthusiastic following.
Chris Hemsworth recently told RadioTimes.com that he was hesitant when first asked to join the project. He had many questions and concerns, especially because he was already a big fan of both the video game and the TV series it inspired, and had read the original books. He explained his reluctance stemmed from wanting to respect the existing, passionate fanbase. Ultimately, he decided to take on the role because he was a fan himself and believed he could do the character justice with his own unique take on the story.
Netflix will release all eight episodes of The Witcher Season 4 on October 30th. A release date for the show’s fifth and final season hasn’t been announced yet.
