Kate Cassidy may have found new love more than a year after Liam Payne’s death.

In a TikTok posted on March 16th, 26-year-old Kate was playfully lifted and spun around by a man named Michael. The video featured the song “Hopelessly Devoted to You” by Olivia Newton-John, and Kate captioned it with a black heart emoji.

Just a few days before, Kate had posted a video featuring the same man, and her caption simply said “Ugh” along with several heart emojis.

Fans of Liam, who rose to fame with One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson, have been following updates on his life since their split. Many people shared supportive comments after she discussed how she’s been coping.

One fan, also a young widow, shared their support, writing, ‘I completely agree with this message.’ They continued, expressing love for Kate and acknowledging the lasting memory of her late husband, Liam, while also encouraging her to find happiness again. They added that any new relationship will naturally be different, and that they believe both their current partner and Liam would want Kate to experience love again.

Someone else noticed Kate looked happy in the video, commenting, “You look so good when you’re happy!”

Kate recently shared an update on her recovery, just over a month after previously mentioning she was able to enjoy Valentine’s Day this year without feeling upset.
