NEOWIZ, the company behind the popular game Lies of P, is working on several new projects. A recent presentation showed they plan to release four games in 2026. Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe (for mobile) and Kill the Shadow (for PC) are scheduled for the first half of the year, followed by Goodbye Seoul: Itaewon (PC) and Kingdom 2 (mobile) in the second half.
NEOWIZ is launching four games as part of its initial plan to focus on ongoing live service titles for both mobile and PC, and to find promising indie games to publish. The company’s next step involves growing popular game franchises internationally, though specific release dates haven’t been announced. Two of these games are being developed directly by NEOWIZ, while the other two are indie titles the company is helping to release.
In addition to a follow-up to Lies of P, NEOWIZ is developing several new games. These include a survival action adventure title, a life simulation game, and projects led by Seungho Jin and Kay Lee. All of these are being created internally for PC and consoles. NEOWIZ is also publishing two games from other studios: a retro sci-fi first-person RPG by Wolfeye Studios and a noir western CRPG by Zakazane Studio, both also planned for PC and consoles.
The new “survival action adventure” game is probably the sci-fi horror game NEOWIZ announced they were working on in November 2024. They didn’t share many details then, saying it was too early to talk about how development was going. However, they did mention the team was striving for a very polished game and that it’s being built using Unreal Engine 5.
Back in November 2023, shortly after its release, NEOWIZ announced they were already developing a sequel to Lies of P. Game director Ji Won Choi also shared that a new DLC, which became known as Overture, was also planned. Since then, though, no further information about the sequel has been released.
NEOWIZ recently announced that the Lies of P: Overture DLC has sold 3 million copies shortly after its release. The original Lies of P game, which came out in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, has already sold 7 million copies as of March 2024.
