What happened to Ashly Burch in Life is Strange: Reunion?
If you’ve played the earlier games, you probably know Ashly Burch was the voice of Chloe Price. She did a fantastic job, and a lot of us really connected with her performance!
Ashly Burch, a voice actress known for roles like Tiny Tina in Borderlands, Mel in The Last of Us Part 2, and Miss Pauling in Team Fortress 2, wasn’t the voice of Chloe in Life is Strange: Before the Storm—Rhianna DeVries took on that role instead.
As a big fan of Life is Strange, I was really bummed to learn that the SAG-AFTRA voice actor strike was actually impacting the game’s development. Apparently, because of the strike rules, talented voice actors like Burch weren’t allowed to work with certain companies, and that caused delays and changes to the project.
I was so excited to hear Rhianna DeVries was taking over! She’s amazing as Chloe Price in pretty much everything now, but I also recognize her voice from other games like Lost Ark and Relayer – she’s a really versatile voice actress.
