The fifth main instalment in the series, Life Is Strange: Reunion is almost upon us.
It’s been over ten years since we first met Max Caulfield in the original game, and she’s back with Chloe Price for the newest installment.
So, when can you play Life Is Strange: Reunion, and what’s in store? Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know.
When is the Life Is Strange: Reunion release date?
Life Is Strange: Reunion releases on 26 March 2026 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
This new game, Reunion, will be different from the first one – it won’t come out in parts. Instead, the whole game will be available on a single release day.
This was confirmed in the official announcement trailer that was released in January 2026.

What to expect from Life Is Strange: Reunion
Life Is Strange: Reunion will tell the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price reconnecting when they both end up at Caledon University.
With a fire rapidly closing in on the university, Chloe is haunted by vivid memories of a life-or-death situation she never actually lived through, and Max is there to support her as she tries to understand them.
Both Max’s power to rewind time and Chloe’s ability to talk her way through difficult conversations are back.
Your decisions in the original game and Life is Strange: Double Exposure shape the relationship between Chloe and Max, and ultimately how their story ends, with the game offering different paths based on your choices.
As a huge Life is Strange fan, I’m so excited to hear that Square Enix is finally finishing Max and Chloe’s story with ‘Life is Strange: Reunion’! It sounds like we’re going to get the conclusion we’ve all been waiting for.
The Life is Strange series is generally loved by players and critics, but the recent installment, Double Exposure, didn’t receive as much praise. Fans are hoping the developers, Deck Nine Games, will build on this entry to give Max and Chloe a satisfying conclusion to their story.
