Lil Wayne‘s fans are hoping for a swift recovery.
As a die-hard fan, I’d have to say it like this: Man, I was all geared up for the Toronto show of the “A Milli” rapper on his Tha Carter VI tour, but just hours before he was supposed to take the stage at Budweiser, fate dealt us a cruel blow – the show had to be postponed!
Due to an unexpected illness, Wayne’s Toronto show tonight has been rescheduled. His fans are aware that he always delivers exceptional performances, and he was particularly looking forward to this event.
Hang tight! We’ll be sharing the rescheduled date with you soon, courtesy of Budweiser Stage. Your existing tickets will still be valid for the new event once it’s officially announced.
TopMob News has reached out to Lil Wayne’s rep for additional comment and has not heard back.
The artist famous for the “Lollipop” single began their tour with a performance in New York City back in June, but it truly picked up speed following a stop in Virginia Beach on August 1st. Over this period, they delivered six shows before postponing their Toronto concert. Their next scheduled appearance is set for Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on the 14th of August.
Lil Wayne’s concert cancellation follows close on the heels of his personal life being under scrutiny in recent months. Back in May, it was claimed by his former girlfriend, Denise Bidot, that he unexpectedly ended their relationship and asked her to leave their shared home.
Today on Mother’s Day, Wayne physically evicted me and my daughter, as he stated on Instagram in May. I am still healing from surgery and am unable to move heavy objects, yet this individual arranged for his aides to forcefully evict us today.
Denise commented that ending a relationship on Mother’s Day is truly unkind, but she remains optimistic and expressed her faith in God to guide her through this difficult time.

She reassured her sister Bella Garcia at the time, saying “It’s all right.” She added, “We’ll take care of it someday. In 2014, the actress who played a pivotal role in “12 Years a Slave” was diagnosed with fibroids, which are non-cancerous growths found within or near the uterus. That very year, she triumphed at the Oscars for her outstanding performance in that movie.
Yet, she didn’t reveal her diagnosis until the year 2025, sharing on Instagram that she had been silently enduring it for over a decade.
She stated, “Upon entering puberty, many women are led to believe that menstruation brings discomfort, which is just an inherent aspect of feminity. It seems, however, that we endure this challenge individually, as it significantly impacts our daily lives.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself compelled to share a personal health update from July 2025. You might know me from Daisy Jones & The Six, and I wanted to let you all know that recently I’ve had to spend some time in the hospital due to an issue with my abdomen. It turns out that I’ve been dealing with a hernia-essentially a tear or weakness in one of the muscular walls, often found in the stomach or groin area-that was exacerbated by wearing tight-fitting pants for quite some time.
I share this story to emphasize the importance of taking care of our bodies and being mindful of the potential consequences of fashion choices. It’s a reminder for me, and I hope it serves as one for you too: prioritize comfort and health in your wardrobe, and don’t hesitate to seek medical advice when necessary. Here’s to healing and wellness!
She mentioned that you haven’t posted on social media in a while,” she wrote on the platform, which was previously called Twitter. “Perhaps you might have thought about how I once wore such tight pants six months ago that I suffered a hernia and have since been too nervous to tell you about it?

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”
Adam Devine revealed that the injuries he suffered at age 11, when a cement truck struck him, continue to impact him until now.
In a 2025 episode of the “In Depth With Graham Bensinger” podcast, Devine expressed that it’s been an incredibly difficult ordeal. He has been experiencing spasms throughout his body and had been told by doctors that he was close to death, specifically within the past year.
He observed that pain is intermittent, expressing it as, “There are times when my body feels a bit off and not quite right.
The former participant from Bachelor Nation disclosed that intense back pain, worsened during a camping trip with a companion, forced him to crawl to the hospital for medical attention.
At the moment, from my knees down to my toes, there’s a strange tingling sensation, which is quite unusual,” he mentioned during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, ‘Trading Secrets’. To give some context, about two to three weeks ago, or perhaps a month ago, he was squatting around 295 pounds. Currently, I can’t perform even a single-leg squat without losing balance. It’s almost as if I’ve had a stroke or something.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”
Back in March 2025, Gina Kirschenheiter from Real Housewives of Orange County revealed that her former spouse, Matt Kirschenheiter, experienced a heart attack, yet fortunately, he made it through this harrowing incident.

In February 2025, an actress from Even Stevens disclosed that she got shot in the face during a trip for husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday celebration, where they were shooting clay pigeons together.
I was at a gathering where someone carelessly discharged a weapon incorrectly, striking me in the face,” she posted on Instagram. “@thebrendanrooney promptly intervened, evaluated my injuries, and whisked me off to the hospital. The bullets struck me in five locations, one of them narrowly missing my right eye.
In simpler terms, the former star of “Kim Possible” mentioned that a piece became stuck near their eye, making it unsafe for surgery right now. However, they are currently able to see clearly and medical professionals will keep a close watch on the situation.
The actress expressed her heartfelt gratitude for being alive, stating, “My love for my daughters, husband, family, and friends is immeasurable. A moment ago, I glimpsed the highlights of my life, and let me tell you this: cherish those around you whenever you have the opportunity. Life can turn unexpectedly in a heartbeat.
In this scenario, it appears that Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often unkind nature, because it ultimately helped her diagnose a health issue. On an episode of Call Her Daddy in January 2025, she recalled feeling trolled due to her “puffier” face, but then medical professionals began commenting and suggested that she may have Cushing syndrome. This syndrome, they said, could be caused by spiking cortisol levels or steroid injections, which Amy had been receiving for her scars following a breast reduction and C-section. Confused at first, she realized that the internet’s scrutiny may have led to her diagnosis as she had not been aware of having Cushing syndrome if it hadn’t been for the intense online criticism. Now, Amy is relieved to know she is okay, as she shared in a February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, stating that receiving the diagnosis of a self-correcting form of Cushing syndrome and learning she was healthy was the best news imaginable.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber encountered a truly alarming incident during breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber. As she recounted on YouTube a month later, she suddenly experienced symptoms resembling a stroke, such as speech impairment and facial drooping. Despite the temporary recovery of her speech and the cessation of facial drooping, Hailey was quick to visit the hospital for a thorough check-up.
Upon examination, medical professionals discovered that Hailey had undergone a minor brain clot incident, known as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further investigations at the University of California, Los Angeles revealed that Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO), which allowed the blood clot to travel into her heart, escape through the hole, and eventually reach her brain, causing the TIA.
Hailey went on to undergo a successful PFO closure procedure and reported feeling wonderful afterward.
In the same year as Hailey’s health scare, Justin also encountered a similar issue. Specifically, in June 2022, Justin Bieber announced his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary facial paralysis and required him to postpone the rest of his Justice World Tour. The condition affected the nerve in his ear and facial nerves, resulting in a lack of blinking on one side, an inability to smile from that same side, and a motionless nostril. Justin explained this in an Instagram video, mentioning it made eating difficult at times. However, after some time, the paralysis subsided. Hailey later stated on a Good Morning America episode that Justin was recovering well and expressed gratitude for his good health.
Jamie Foxx, the Oscar-winning actor, initially chose to keep quiet about his hospitalization in April 2023. However, during his Netflix special titled “What Had Happened Was…” in 2024, he shared details about the incident. In Atlanta, he experienced a severe headache and asked for an aspirin, but before he could get it, he passed out and lost consciousness for approximately 20 days.
Initially, Foxx was treated by a doctor who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home. However, his sister, Deidra Dixon, drove him to a hospital where they discovered the cause: A brain bleed that led to a stroke. After undergoing surgery on the 20th day, he woke up on May 4 in a wheelchair, unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
“I want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “because I needed every prayer.
Actress Emilia Clarke filmed intense battle scenes for “Game of Thrones,” but in 2019, she penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker. In the gym, she experienced severe headaches that led her to the restroom where she became violently ill and was overwhelmed by intense, sharp, and constricting pain. She suspected her brain was injured.
Upon hospitalization, doctors diagnosed her with a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a dangerous type of stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. They discovered an aneurysm, a ruptured artery in her brain. The actress endured agonizing pain during emergency surgery to seal the aneurysm. While recovering, she struggled with aphasia and spoke nonsensically.
A week later, the aphasia resolved, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month’s stay. However, a 2013 brain scan revealed that the growth had doubled in size, necessitating another surgery.
“When they woke me up, I was screaming in pain,” she wrote. “The initial procedure had failed. The doctors explained that my survival chances were uncertain if they didn’t operate again. This time, they needed to access my brain the traditional way-through my skull.”
Luckily, Emilia now claims to be at 100%.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, expresses gratitude for her family after experiencing a severe stroke in January 2024. The loving members of her family were quick to be by her side when she informed them through text messages and shared images with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024. Due to other health complications, Cori’s hospital stay was longer than anticipated. She explained that she could have been discharged after the stroke, but her lupus wasn’t cooperating as it wasn’t doing well, and her kidneys were failing. Today, Cori is recovering well, having regained some motor skills, although overall, she is in good health.
In her twenties, Shailene Woodley‘s health took a turn for the worse. She experienced hearing loss, fatigue after minimal physical exertion, and stomach pain from food intake. This period was marked by numerous conflicting diagnoses from various doctors. To seek answers, Shailene, who has a holistic background, combined conventional medical help with alternative healing methods.
This journey of discovery, lasting for about a decade, also triggered other issues such as fear of food due to stomach discomfort. This led to mental struggles like body dysmorphia, identity confusion, and insecurity about her own safety and self-image.
Finally, after addressing both her physical and mental health concerns, Shailene is now in good health. She shared that her condition eventually resolved itself, and she’s grateful for her improved state of wellness.
