Lisa Vanderpump has bigger fish to fry.
Even though the twelfth season of Vanderpump Rules introduced a completely new group of cast members, the restaurant owner still had to address and scold her staff for their actions during the premiere episode.
Look, SUR is everything to me – it’s like my own child, really. And I have to say, seeing the state it was in today was incredibly frustrating. Nathalie, my partner, works so incredibly hard here – this isn’t just a job for her, it’s how she makes a living. So, when I walked in and saw things the way they were, I was honestly furious.
The former Beverly Hills housewife then focused her attention on three of her employees: servers Marcus Johnson and Venus Blinkley, who were late to the meeting, and Jason Cohen.
She explained that last night, Marcus was busy making Sangria at the back of the house, and Venus, along with Jason, saw him having shots even before work began.
While her team looked on, Lisa continued, “What level of service can I expect? I’m really not pleased with this.”
This short preview offers just a taste of the drama coming in the new season of Vanderpump Rules. The show features a fresh group of servers and bartenders now running things at SUR.
And Lisa has one request of her employees as they head into this new chapter.
I’ve been watching this whole situation unfold, and it’s wild. When Shayne Davis started helping himself to more than his fair share of the tips, Chris Hahn actually called him out on it. Chris is really good friends with Shayne – he even said, ‘Shayne’s my boy,’ – but he made it clear that taking extra from the tip pool is a total violation of the bro code. He was pretty blunt about it, saying you just don’t do that.
But for Lisa, it’s just another day on the job.
“This is SUR, we’re a family,” she said. “They’re not perfect, but they’re mine.”

In a preview for the new season, the 65-year-old joked that he tells his team, ‘I’ll take anything—just no boredom!’
It should be an easy task, as Venus told the cameras, “We’re able to work, party, have sex.”
Just like the original cast of Vanderpump Rules – including stars like Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Jax Taylor, and Kristen Doute – it seems this new group will also be finding romance amongst their coworkers at SUR, and seeing where things go.

Server Shayne Davis started taking more than his share of pooled tips, and his coworker Chris Hahn immediately called him out on it, saying, “I like Shayne, but that’s a clear violation of bro code.”
But for Lisa, it’s just another day on the job.

This season of Vanderpump Rules promises plenty of drama as the longtime group of friends, rivals, and romantic interests who work at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant face new challenges. Even with updated uniforms and some new employees, the relationships remain just as complicated and messy as ever.

Demy Selem has managed SUR restaurant for seven years, making her the most experienced member of the team. She understands everything that goes on with the staff. While Demy is focused and professional at work, being in charge creates challenges for her friendships, particularly with Natalie. She’s trying to balance being a boss with being part of the group.

Shayne Davis finds himself caught in the middle of all the drama at SUR, despite not being an employee. He’s dedicated to staying sober, but still enjoys going out. Juggling acting, improv, and screenwriting keeps him busy, but he always has time for dating. He’s casually dating around SUR, and might end up creating some unexpected complications.

Venus Binkley considers himself the person who keeps the staff at SUR connected and the one everyone goes to for both advice and the latest news. Though he feels like an outsider in the West Hollywood dating world, his friends push him to try new things. When a complicated situation arises involving Marcus, Kim, and Natalie, Venus finds himself caught in the middle and forced to choose a side, abandoning his usual diplomatic approach.

Jason Cohen is an optimistic actor who works as a server at SUR, where he’s become a favorite among guests and coworkers. Known for his friendly personality and good looks, he’s caught the attention of several women and put many of the men at ease. He’s very close to his cousin, Chris, who also works at SUR, as they’ve been practically inseparable since they were kids. Between acting classes and his job, Jason tries to start a relationship with a colleague, but things don’t go as planned.

Chris Hahn, Jason’s cousin, has lived in Los Angeles for three years and currently works as a bartender at SUR. He originally moved to LA hoping to become an actor, but now focuses on music, seeing his job at SUR as a way to get ahead. Chris is single and hoping to find a serious relationship. When he begins dating Audrey, disagreements about a possible future vacation create some tension.

Audrey Lingle is instantly likable with her sweet and approachable personality, making her a favorite among most of the SUR staff. Recently single, she’s enjoying dating and pursuing her acting dreams. But when a mysterious and somewhat troubled guy at work catches her attention, she might find herself falling for someone who’s a little bit dangerous.

Marcus Johnson has been a long-time employee at SUR, but he’s been finding it hard to concentrate on work and his relationship with his girlfriend, Kim, since his parents passed away. He’s relying on his close friends, Venus and Shayne, for support as he navigates this difficult time. Marcus is eager to start a new chapter, focusing on his passion for DJing and spending more time socializing. However, he needs to figure out if this new direction will bring him closer to Kim or create distance between them.

Kim Suarez balances working at SUR with pursuing her dreams of a career in entertainment, all while navigating a rocky relationship with her boyfriend, Marcus. She starts to worry about how their constant ups and downs might impact her job when her friends get involved.

Natalie Maguire has been the lead bartender at SUR for two years and is hoping to become bar manager. However, Lisa’s recent angry reaction might make that difficult. Natalie and Lisa started working at SUR on the same day and have been close friends ever since. Natalie is also seriously pursuing a career as a pop singer, and her dating life often causes drama with her friends.

Angelica Jensen has just joined the SUR team and is quickly becoming a topic of conversation. She’s pursuing a career in modeling and acting, and seems interested in both Jason and Shayne, but miscommunication could jeopardize any potential relationships.
