Over the past few years, the realm known as the Hellaverse has been growing significantly, with shows like Hazbin Hotel and I.M.P. earning top spots among North American animated series. This October, Hazbin Hotel will reopen its doors, while Helluva Boss is gearing up for an earlier comeback. In addition to a new short airing online, Brandon Rogers, voice actor of Blitzo and writer for the Hellaverse, is preparing to bring his character to life in real life. To add to the excitement, the head of I.M.P. has shared a special teaser image on Instagram, hinting at an innovative new appearance.
Brandon Rogers has been a part of “Helluva Boss” from its inception, bringing Blitzo to life as soon as the demonic boss launched his vengeance enterprise. The show now boasts two seasons on YouTube and is set to make its way onto Amazon Prime Video, joining shows like “Hazbin Hotel”. On his official Instagram account, Rogers recently gave a sneak peek of himself portraying Blitzo in obscurity, announcing the arrival of the new short titled “A Night At The Park.” You can view the first look at the live-action version of the “Helluva Boss” main character below.
Rogers Talks the Hellaverse Crossover
Previously, it was announced that “Helluva Boss” would be streaming on Amazon. In response, SpindleHorse produced a unique segment where I.M.P. and Hazbin Hotel’s residents came together for the first time. Recently, we at egmr.ru had the chance to chat with Brandon Rogers about this crossover and if the two worlds might merge in the future. During the interview, Rogers not only talked about the crossover but also jokingly mentioned how fans keep trying to find out more about the characters meeting each other.
Reading that script was quite a mind-blowing experience! I didn’t truly grasp its content until I arrived at the studio. Seeing Blitz and Charlie together on paper felt surreal, almost unbelievable. It’s as if I were living in a dream, and here we are making it come true. Fans often approach me at conventions, eager to learn about the crossover and what’s going to happen next. Just imagine if I revealed everything to you right now – you’re 14 years old! The passion fans have for this project is astonishing; it shows how deeply they care. I understand their excitement as it triggers a sense of reward, which is truly an honor for me to be a part of. And yes, I do appreciate their enthusiasm.
Over at SpindleHorse, they’ve got another major undertaking cooking up. Earlier in the summer, news broke about their plans for an animated pilot based on the widely acclaimed internet phenomenon, HomeStuck. This new adaptation is expected to debut this September, although a collaboration with Hellaverse isn’t yet officially confirmed. With all the hard work Brandon Rogers and his team are putting into Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, there’s a good chance that HomeStuck could eventually get a full series order.
