Lola Young is officially back.
Maroon 5’s Adam Levine made a triumphant return to the stage at the 2026 Grammy Awards on February 1st, following a five-month break after experiencing a health issue during a performance.
Being a huge fan, I was so excited to see Lola perform at the Crypto.com Arena! She was nominated for Best New Artist alongside some incredible talent – Olivia Dean, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, Addison Rae, The Marias, and KATSEYE – and they all did a fantastic montage performance together. Of course, Olivia Dean ended up winning, and she absolutely deserved it!
For her first Grammy Awards appearance, Lola wore a green two-piece outfit by Vivienne Westwood. She then changed into a burgundy off-the-shoulder dress to perform.
The singer, 25, last performed publicly on September 27th at the All Things Go Music Festival in Queens, New York. During her song “Conceited,” she suddenly fainted and had to be helped off stage by her team.
A few days later, Lola shared that she was taking a break from performing. She canceled all upcoming shows so she could focus on her personal well-being and return feeling refreshed and ready to perform again.
On September 30th, she announced on Instagram that she was taking a break and had to cancel all upcoming plans. She said it was difficult for her to do so.
In December, Lola finished the year on a positive note, letting fans know how she’s doing and announcing her comeback to performing.

In a recent Instagram post on December 20th, she shared her thanks to everyone who supported her and gave her the time and space she needed to feel better. She expressed that the love and support she received meant more than words could say.
She shared that she’s slowly starting to perform again and is excited to continue working towards her goals. She wished everyone happy holidays and expressed her anticipation for seeing them in 2026. She reflected that life isn’t perfect, but she’s currently feeling good, and sent her love to everyone.
