Looney Tunes is Now Free to Watch (And Here’s How)

Recently, HBO Max has been generating a lot of buzz, not just because of its name change, but also due to the removal of several popular shows from its platform. Series such as “Courage The Cowardly Dog,” “What’s New Scooby-Doo,” “The Powerpuff Girls,” “The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy,” and other beloved Cartoon Network favorites have disappeared from HBO Max. Earlier this year, a significant number of Looney Tunes episodes and shorts were taken off the service, leaving fans wondering where they could find these missing episodes. Fortunately, most of the Looney Tunes content is now available to stream for free once again.

As a fanatic, I’m thrilled to share that over seven hundred hilarious Looney Tunes shorts are now available on Tubi, the fantastic free streaming platform! Although this number doesn’t include every episode featuring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and their fabulous furry friends, it does encompass a significant portion of the legendary franchise.

The collection may be a bit tricky to maneuver due to Tubi grouping all shorts under one “season,” but this doesn’t detract from the fantastic news for fans eager to dive back into these timeless cartoons or discover them for the first time. The State of Looney Tunes

In addition to the traditional catalog, Tubi offers contemporary versions of these characters, like “The Looney Tunes Show” and “The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries.” Note that not all parts of the franchise have been moved off HBO Max. On the contrary, HBO Max continues to offer the 2020 reboot titled “Looney Tunes Cartoons” and the highly praised film, “The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.” Besides these new episodes, HBO Max also holds the recent movie.

Fortunately, fans of Looney Tunes will be treated to a new big-screen project next year with the release of the much-anticipated “Coyote Vs. Acme” film. Initially, this production, combining classic 2-D animation and real-life actors like Will Forte and John Cena, was canceled by Warner Bros Discovery. After its termination, Ketchup Entertainment acquired the distribution rights and is set to premiere the movie on August 28th, 2026.

Previously this year, John Cena expressed his feelings about the movie’s release date, stating, “Definitely rewarding for everyone involved in the project. It can be tough when something you pour your heart into gets delayed. However, I understand the complexities behind these decisions as it’s not my domain. Yet, it’s encouraging to see that cooperation between companies made this movie possible for viewers. We create our work with the intention of entertaining, and judging from those who watched Coyote vs. Acme, they were certainly entertained. I hope the audience expands… I just recently had a chance to watch it myself. It’s full of fun, and I’m simply glad it’s no longer hidden away.
