CI Games has released even more gameplay footage of Lords of the Fallen 2, following their showings at Summer Game Fest and Nintendo Direct. This new teaser highlights the game’s impressive combat system, showcasing a range of weapons, including a brand new katana. You can watch it below.
The player can use a frost wave to freeze enemies, creating an opening for weapon attacks. For those who like to fight from a distance, a bigger sword is an option, but it’s currently unclear if it has a special attack animation.
There are plenty of ways to fight – from axes and greatswords to hand-to-hand combat. While magic is a powerful option, sometimes the best defense is a good offense, like a swift kick! We’ve also added dual-wielding, which feels incredibly quick and smooth.
The highly anticipated game Lords of the Fallen 2 is coming this fall to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Although a specific date hasn’t been officially announced (some details suggest August based on a designer’s online portfolio), it will be available on Steam immediately upon release. This is because the game’s publisher, CI Games, has ended its deal with Epic Games, meaning they can now distribute the PC version themselves.
