Love Island USA Issues Statement on “Cyberbullying” of Contestants

Love Island USA had a message for the bombshells at home.

As viewers tuned in to the June 24 edition of the Peacock reality show, they encountered a fresh prompt urging them to exhibit kindness.

Before the show began, a message was displayed: “On Love Island, it’s all about…Love!” We appreciate and cherish our fans. Our islanders are dear to us, but we stand against cyberbullying, harassment, and hatred.

The show likewise shared a “kindly notice” on their official social media accounts, addressing the fans of “Love Island USA”.

In a recent message, it was expressed, “We value our fans, their enthusiasm for the show, and the fantastic community of Islanders who are spending their summers with us.” The message also encouraged, “Just remember these are actual individuals, so let’s treat them kindly and continue to spread warmth and positivity!

During season 7, as bombshell contestants arrived at the villas, viewers have been expressing their opinions about the Casa Amor residents hoping to conclude their summer and the series with a relationship. However, unexpected eliminations of beloved characters Hannah and Jeremiah have sparked strong reactions from fans, particularly since Huda, a frequently discussed contestant and Jeremiah’s ex, survived these cuts.

Indeed, Noah Sheline, who was previously in a relationship with Huda, made a public statement where he criticized Love Island fans for their negative comments towards his former partner.

I hope everyone keeps in mind that despite everything, Huda’s daughter’s mother is still a person. Her participation on the show may have been about finding love or something else, but remember she has a child and a life beyond it.

Host Ariana Madix also urged the fans to “be nice” amid the Islanders quest for love.

Ariana, 40 years old, expressed during the June 21st episode of Aftersun that Love Island has fans who are exceptional and passionate across the world. She appreciates this passion and enjoys the unique sense of community that comes with watching the show. However, she wants to remind those active online to refrain from contacting people’s families, doxxing individuals, or posting inappropriate comments on islanders’ social media pages.

The former Vanderpump Rules star mentioned that since the islanders don’t have their phones, there’s still an opportunity to erase everything. They want to remind you because the show is enjoyable and entertaining, and we should appreciate each islander for sharing their lives with us. So, please be considerate or I might track you down.
