We were definitely surprised and a little sad to hear that Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, who have been popular on the Netflix show Love on the Spectrum since it began in 2022, have ended their almost five-year relationship.
It definitely appeared these two were a perfect match when they went to Florida for the fourth season of the show to celebrate the upcoming July 2025 engagement of their fellow cast members, Madison Marilla and Tyler White.
Abbey and David had just celebrated their fourth anniversary, and Abbey playfully suggested she hoped a proposal was coming soon. David agreed he wanted to get married eventually, but emphasized they should get engaged only when the moment felt right. He finished with a sweet declaration of his love, saying it knew no bounds.
Abbey and David were practical about their future together. Abbey’s mother, Christine Romeo, had previously shared that she and Abbey had already discussed what their relationship might entail.
Speaking on The Unplanned Podcast in March 2025, Christine shared the advice she’d given her daughter about living arrangements. She explained that it didn’t need to follow typical expectations. ‘You can each maintain your own space and continue with your own lives until you’re both ready to live together,’ she said.
Even though the participants went their own ways, the reality show has still helped many people achieve success.
Season three featured a strong connection between Pari Kim and Tina Zhou Xi Caruso, who are still together and based in Boston. We also saw new roommates Shelley Wolfe and James B. Jones forming a close relationship and building a life together.
Madison shared on Instagram on April 8th that she immediately said yes when Tyler proposed on their anniversary. She added that keeping the engagement a secret has been incredibly difficult, and she’s excited to start planning the wedding!
With the wedding approaching, would you be interested in hearing updates about the show’s other couples?

Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, who were popular on all four seasons of the Netflix show Love on the Spectrum, have broken up. The show followed their relationship, which began with a first date at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in 2021. After almost five years together, the Los Angeles couple ended their romance in 2026.
In a March 2026 episode of We Need to Talk, Abbey shared how much she appreciates her partner, noting he often says kind things and is considerate of her sensitivities, like shielding her ears from unpleasant sounds. She also revealed they enjoy simple pleasures together, such as burgers, fries, spaghetti – admitting they both love carbs – and watching Disney classics like The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.
In the end, they both realized they weren’t compatible and didn’t want to continue their relationship. She explained to a producer during the fourth season that she wasn’t ready for marriage. She didn’t want to repeat her mother’s experience with divorce and wanted to be sure before committing to marriage.

Tyler White surprised his girlfriend, Madison Marilla, with a Christmas-themed proposal in July. Netflix documented the event, which took place at the Sunken Gardens in Tampa, Florida – the same location as their first date. Tyler decorated the gardens with holiday decorations and left a special note for Madison.
He wrote that from the moment they met, he knew she was someone special, one-of-a-kind, and incredibly important to him, and he couldn’t wait any longer to share his feelings with everyone.
Madison and her partner are planning a wedding with a fun cowboy-and-princess theme! She excitedly announced the news on Instagram, saying it was a difficult secret to keep, and that wedding planning was officially underway. They’re looking forward to their happily ever after.
Tyler shared with Netflix’s Tudum that what he loves most about being with Madison is how they support each other through challenges. He expressed his excitement about spending the rest of his life with her.

After focusing on their relationship, Shelley Wolfe and her boyfriend, James B. Jones, are now working on a home renovation project. Jones shared with Netflix’s Tudum that they’ve been in their new Boston-area house for three months and have already put a lot of work into making it feel like their own.
After two years together, Shelley says living together feels natural and comfortable. She continues to be James’ primary home. James describes them as soulmates and kindred spirits, explaining that while they aren’t exactly alike, they share many similarities. He adds that they encourage each other to grow and become their best selves.

I was so sad to hear that Connor Tomlinson and Georgie Harris, who seemed to have such a great thing going, decided to split up! It happened pretty quickly after their trip to London in July 2025. Connor explained to Tudum that dating can be tough, and sometimes you realize you’re just not a good fit for someone, even after getting to know them. He said they had some pretty significant differences that they couldn’t ignore. It’s always disappointing when a relationship doesn’t work out, but I wish them both the best.
Things are definitely improving for both Connor and his future! He’s inspired after revisiting KPop Demon Hunters and is excited to start acting lessons and pursue a career in acting. He also shared with Tudum that he’s feeling ready to start dating again.
Georgie is dating again! Shortly after her breakup, her close friend Luke asked her to be his girlfriend. “I was really happy and of course I said yes,” she shared with Tudum. “We just make each other laugh.”

Even though Pari Kim and Tina Zhu Xi Caruso’s relationship isn’t featured on television anymore, they’re still together and thriving. In a March 2026 Instagram post – fittingly taken on the Boston subway – Tina announced, “Pari and I are so proud of the cast of Season 4!” and hinted at exciting updates about the show.
The couple recently showed their love for all things Barbie with a fun trip to the Barbie Dream Fest in Florida, back in March 2026. Pari shared the experience on Instagram on March 29th, writing, “Anything is possible if you believe!”
As she explained to Netflix’s Tudum in 2025, she feels a strong connection with Tina, describing her as someone who truly understands her. They share a similar energy, playful personality, and positive outlook, which she greatly appreciates. They have a lot of fun together and always make each other laugh.
