This year’s Star Wars Day will bring back Luke Skywalker’s famous “Blue Milk.” When George Lucas first created the Star Wars universe, he wanted it to feel both strange and believable. He focused on small details – places like Mos Eisley and ships like the Millennium Falcon felt realistically used. He even playfully altered everyday things, like giving Luke Skywalker a unique drink: blue milk.
Okay, so Dairy Farmers of America, the folks behind TruMoo, are doing something really fun for Star Wars Day this year! Starting April 16th, you’ll be able to find Star Wars’ famous Blue Milk in the dairy section of most grocery stores. It’s a vanilla-flavored, low-fat milk, and honestly, as a Star Wars fan, I’m pretty excited about it. If you want to dive even deeper into the galactic goodness, they’ve also set up a special website, starwarsmilk.com, with more details and probably some fun extras.
- TruMoo Explore a Galaxy of Flavor sweepstakes: Fans can enter for a chance to win a $5,000 grand prize, alongside a ‘galactic bounty’ of instant-win prizes including exclusive Star Wars merchandise, TruMoo gear, and free milk.
- Exclusive Crafts & Recipes
People have been curious about the taste of Luke Skywalker’s blue milk from the Tatooine scenes for years. That’s what inspired us to create this product,” explained Rachel Kyllo, Chief Marketing Officer at Dairy Farmers of America. “When fans started requesting it, we knew we had to make it happen. TruMoo Blue Milk lets you experience a bit of movie magic right in your own home.
Star Wars Blue Milk Is Even Celebrating The Mandalorian and Grogu
It’s a huge year for Star Wars fans, as the first new movie in four years is coming out! “The Mandalorian and Grogu” finally brings Din Djarin and Grogu to the big screen, and tickets are available now. To celebrate, starwarsmilk.com has a fun craft project: turning old milk cartons into planters shaped like Grogu.
It’s still uncertain if blue milk will return in the new Mandalorian and Grogu series, but fans are hoping Grogu will enjoy it just like Luke Skywalker. If it does reappear, TruMoo will be offering a limited-edition blue milk drink so everyone can try it – so don’t wait if you want to!
