Macaulay Culkin Shares His “Only Regret” About Brenda Song Romance

I was so happy to see Macaulay and Brenda celebrate nine years together! He shared the sweetest message about how deeply connected they are, and it really touched me. He did mention one little regret about their relationship, but honestly, it just made their story feel even more real and relatable. Seeing them as parents to Dakota and Carson is just the cutest, and I’m sending them all my best!

Macaulay Culkin celebrated a milestone on Instagram June 17th, sharing a tribute to his partner. He wrote that nine years ago, his life was forever changed, marking a very special day for him.

Macaulay Culkin even did the math to show how grateful he is for his partner. He calculated that he’s woken up beside the love of his life on approximately one out of every five days since he was born, which he finds incredible.

The actor, known for My Girl, met his partner, a veteran of the Disney Channel, in 2013. They later fell in love while working together on Seth Green’s 2019 independent film, Changeland. He did mention one thing about their relationship he might change if he could.

Culkin expressed his gratitude, saying he wished they’d had more time to spend with each other and thanking them for everything they’d done for him.

Fans reacted warmly to the public display of affection, but Culkin previously showed his love for Song with another big romantic gesture last year. In 2025, he involved their children in proposing to her again after nearly ten years together.

“I was coming home from Running Point and my mom texts me,” Song told Kylie Kelce on the Not Gonna Lie podcast April 30. “She’s like, ‘Are you wearing makeup?’ And I was like ‘What?’ They had flowers all by the front door and my two boys.”

I was completely shocked when I walked in! He looked at my sons and asked them what they would say to their mom. Immediately, my youngest shouted, ‘Ram’s House!’ It’s a running joke – I often ask ‘Who’s house?’ and they always reply with ‘Ram’s House!’ I guess you could say I’ve successfully raised them as Rams fans.
