It seems Malcolm in the Middle has a lot of fans, including one very famous celebrity who was thrilled about the show’s four-episode revival. They were so eager to make a cameo that they enthusiastically agreed, even exclaiming with excitement after visiting the set.
Linwood Boomer, the creator of the show, explained how Finn Wolfhard – a self-proclaimed fan – ended up with a cameo. It all started when Wolfhard’s agent asked if he could visit the set. Boomer and the team were immediately enthusiastic, and since they had a small, uncast role, they offered it to him. The agent responded with a resounding ‘yes!’ and that’s how Wolfhard became part of Life’s Still Unfair.
Finn Wolfhard was a “Charming” Addition to the Revival
Frankie Muniz is back as Malcolm in a new series called Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair. Now a father himself, Malcolm returns home for his parents, Hal and Lois, anniversary party after years of avoiding his family. He’s also trying to shield his daughter, Leah, from the family’s usual craziness. Finn Wolfhard makes a cameo as the event planner Lois hires to ensure the party is a success.
Viewers are saying the show’s return is just as funny and charming as the original Malcolm in the Middle. Along with the new season of Scrubs, it proves that revivals can work well when they have a good concept and bring back beloved actors. It suggests there’s still a place for them on TV.
Finn Wolfhard recently finished five seasons on the popular show Stranger Things, which became a major part of today’s pop culture, even though the last season wasn’t universally loved. He’s also known for his roles in IT and the Ghostbusters reboot. His newest project, Crash Land, premiered at the SXSW festival last month.
