Mark Wahlberg’sdaughter Grace Wahlberg is getting back up on the horse.
The actor from Ted’s daughter, 15, is recovering in the hospital after being injured while competing in a horse-riding event.
Grace shared a photo on Instagram on November 3rd showing her in a hospital bed with a sling on her arm, and reassured fans with a message saying she’s recovering and will return soon.
Mark, who shares children Grace, Ella (22), Michael (19), and Brendan (17) with his wife Rhea Durham, expressed his worry for his daughter and responded to her update with prayer and crying emojis.
Grace also shared some favorite moments from the competition, including pictures of her riding over obstacles and walking around the event. She finished the post with a fun picture of Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans celebrating a victory with his arms raised.
This isn’t the first time the teen has shared details about her horseback riding. She frequently posts on social media about her successes with her horses, including Zeppelin Blue, Tippy Z, Chow, Cheeto, and Special.
Even amid her time recovering, Grace shared updates on her competition and horses.
Tippy Z had several successful rounds in the $25,000 Platinum Jumper Championship (1.35/1.40 meter height) and finished 7th overall. Someone excitedly praised her performance in a November 4th post, calling her ‘queen Tippy’.
Another post saw her get sentimental about her inability to practice or compete for the time being.
The teen recently shared how much her horse means to her, writing, “Special couldn’t be more special.” She also expressed her wish to be riding with him in competitions.

The former star of Boogie Nights finds it difficult to enjoy watching the sport. He explained that he gets anxious worrying about his daughter while she’s competing.
Last year, the 54-year-old posted a video on Instagram showing his intense reaction while watching his daughter compete in an equestrian event. He captioned it, saying it was the most nervous, anxious, and stressed he’d ever been at a sporting event.

Nikki Bella, known from Total Bellas, shared that one of her breast implants moved after being hit during an elbow strike from wrestler Piper Niven in a match that took place in July 2025.
She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, saying they would get the issue resolved eventually. She wanted to ensure things were presentable, as she anticipated future activity and didn’t want the current state to remain.

Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role in 12 Years a Slave, received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus—in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her acting.
She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with it for over ten years.
She explained that girls are often taught to accept period pain as a normal part of growing up and being female. This leads many to suffer in silence with something that impacts a large part of their lives.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap to form in her abdominal muscles.
Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter) saying, “You haven’t tweeted in a while!” Suki replied with a surprising explanation: she injured herself six months ago by wearing very tight pants, causing a hernia, and has been afraid to mention it.

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery to repair a nearly ruptured appendix.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

As a longtime observer of athletes and their well-being, I was really concerned to hear about the Racing Louisville midfielder who unexpectedly collapsed early in their game against Seattle Reign on September 14th. It happened so quickly, just a few minutes into the match at Lumen Field in Seattle, and it was definitely a frightening moment for everyone involved.
According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate supporting her, just before collapsing. Trainers were immediately called to assess her condition.
After receiving immediate medical attention on the field, Savannah was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests. League officials reported she is currently in stable condition and fully conscious.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! I just found out that Adam Devine – my Adam Devine! – is still dealing with injuries from when he was eleven! Apparently, he got hit by a cement truck when he was a kid, and it’s still bothering him now! Seriously, this man is a superhero, dealing with that and still making me laugh! I just… I can’t even imagine. It makes me love him even more, honestly.
“It’s been a really difficult time,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I’ve been experiencing spasms all over my body, and doctors actually told me recently that my life was in danger—I was told I was dying within the last year.”
He explained that his pain is intermittent, saying his body has some minor imperfections and isn’t quite working as it should.

He described a strange tingling sensation that reached from his knees to his toes during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. He explained that just a few weeks prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds, but now he can’t even do a basic squat or stand on one leg without falling. He compared the feeling to having a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Okay, so there was a bit of worry yesterday, but I wanted to share an update: it turns out I had a pretty nasty case of food poisoning! Thankfully, I’m feeling much better now and definitely on the road to recovery. It was a rough 24 hours, but I’m getting back to normal.

In February 2025, the former Even Stevens star revealed she was accidentally shot in the face during a birthday celebration for her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a clay pigeon shooting outing at the time.
In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a gun unsafely. Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped her, checked her injuries, and drove her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet narrowly missed her right eye, coming within an inch.
The former Kim Possible star shared that a small piece of something got stuck behind their eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, but they’ll keep a close watch on the situation. Thankfully, their vision is currently normal.

She urged everyone to hug their loved ones often, emphasizing the importance of appreciating life and the people in it.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, even though it can be harsh, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer was surprised when doctors started commenting on her appearance online, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome. They pointed out changes in her face that concerned them. This led Schumer to realize she’d been getting steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section, which ultimately caused the condition. She wouldn’t have known about it without the online comments. Thankfully, doctors determined her case of Cushing syndrome would resolve on its own, and she’s now relieved to be healthy.

As a huge hockey fan and especially a follower of the AHL, I was really shaken to hear about the injury one player suffered back in December 2024. He was unfortunately cut by a skate during a game and needed a whopping 25 stitches! Thankfully, he made a full recovery, and his dad, Tom Fitzgerald – the GM of the New Jersey Devils – shared how relieved they were. He told ESPN it was a terrifying experience, and honestly, he said something that really hit home: he wouldn’t wish that on any parent. It was a scary situation, and we’re all just glad to see the player back on the ice.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to respond when Justin asked if she was alright. She then found she couldn’t speak and the right side of her face began to droop.
Although the symptoms eventually passed, Hailey went to the hospital where tests revealed she’d had a small blood clot in her brain, diagnosed as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack).
Further investigation at UCLA discovered she had a hole in her heart, called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). Doctors determined the blood clot had traveled to her brain through this hole, causing the TIA.
Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now doing well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained that the virus affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult for him to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, adding that while the situation was frightening and unexpected, he was going to be okay and she was grateful he was fine.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had initially kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he suffered a severe headache one day while in Atlanta. Before he could take an aspirin, he lost consciousness and doesn’t remember the next 20 days.
Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. There, they discovered he had a brain bleed that caused a stroke.
After surgery, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair on May 4th, unable to walk. He then went to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

The reality TV star said she temporarily stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC show.
She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, everything went dark, but she then experienced a bright light, which led her to realize she had died that day.
She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where your body essentially starts to shut down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the series, she experienced a sudden, severe headache during a gym workout. She described collapsing and being violently ill, realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan quickly revealed she’d suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. It was determined she had an aneurysm, a ruptured blood vessel in her brain, and she underwent immediate surgery to repair it. The pain was excruciating, and during her recovery, she experienced aphasia, struggling to speak coherently.
Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had doubled in size, requiring a second surgery. This operation was unsuccessful, leading to a massive bleed and a dire prognosis. Doctors had to perform a more invasive procedure, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia Clarke now says she has made a full recovery and is at 100%.

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared how much she appreciates her family’s support after a health scare. In January 2024, she suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones, sending them a text and a photo. She told TopMob News that everyone quickly came to her aid.
Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. In addition to recovering from the stroke, she was also dealing with lupus and kidney problems.
Fortunately, Cori is now recovering well. She said she’s feeling great and has been working to regain some motor skills, but overall is doing fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with her health throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she revealed she experienced hearing loss, extreme fatigue, and digestive issues. She described a confusing period where doctors offered different diagnoses and couldn’t pinpoint the problem.
Determined to find answers, Woodley, who prefers to keep her specific condition private, combined traditional medical care with holistic and herbal remedies. This search for well-being spanned ten years.
She explained that the physical discomfort led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling comfortable in her own body.
Thankfully, after focusing on both her physical and mental health, Woodley is now doing much better. She shared that her health issues have resolved, and she is very happy and healthy now.
