Tribute Games and Dotemu have announced that their new beat ’em up game, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, will be released on December 1st. It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The newest trailer also unveiled the last two characters you can play as: Jean Grey’s Phoenix and Iron Man. Phoenix attacks with fire, quickly moving through enemies, while Iron Man uses repulsor blasts and his powerful Iron Cannon. The trailer also demonstrates how the Cosmic Swap system functions with these heroes, including a preview of their in-game dialogue when they join the battle.
Besides Annihilus, Marvel Cosmic Invasion hints at battles with Taskmaster, M.O.D.O.K., and Galactus. Fans will also be excited to see Master Mold, the leader of the dangerous Sentinels, make an appearance.
I’m so excited for this game! They’ll be sharing more about the title soon, but you can actually try it out right now with a free PC demo! It’s got nine different heroes you can play as, two levels to explore, and you can even team up with friends locally or online for some co-op action.
