Good news for comic book fans! You don’t have to wait to see Marvel and DC heroes team up again. After years of keeping their universes separate, the two biggest comic publishers are collaborating more than ever. They’ve just released two surprise crossover stories, with another Batman and Deadpool team-up coming next week and a Superman and Spider-Man adventure planned for next spring. And if you can’t wait that long, there’s even more content available right now!
It’s well-known that new comic books come out on Wednesdays, but today brought a surprise: Marvel and DC Comics both launched unexpected crossover comics for their streaming platforms. Marvel’s offering is Thor/Shazam! by Al Ewing and Jethro Morales, while DC’s is The Flash/Fantastic Four by Jeremy Adams and Adrian Gutierrez. To reach the widest possible audience, both comics are designed for easy reading on phones and tablets through Marvel’s Infinity Comics and DC Go!. They’re free to read with a simple registration and will remain available for the next month.
Marvel and DC Surprise Fans with The Flash/Fantastic Four and Thor/Shazam!

As a lifelong movie and comic book fan, I’m honestly blown away by how much Marvel and DC are collaborating these days. For so long – like, over twenty years! – it felt like these dream team-ups were impossible. I grew up hearing about what could have been – crossovers like The Uncanny X-Men and the New Teen Titans, JLA/Avengers, or even the fun of the Amalgam Comics – but they just never happened. But things are different now! Since Marvel and DC announced they were joining forces for new stories, it’s been one awesome reveal after another, and I’m really excited to see where it all goes.
It’s amazing how dedicated Marvel and DC Comics are to team-ups! They’re already planning projects we haven’t even heard about yet, which hasn’t happened since the Deadpool/Batman series brought back the Amalgam Universe and introduced the hilarious Logo (Lobo/Wolverine). DC and Marvel are clearly committed to surprising fans, and this new collaboration is making for a really exciting time for comic book lovers.
The Big Two are Better Than Ever Now That They’re Collaborating Again

As a big DC fan, I’ve always had a soft spot for Marvel crossovers. There’s just something incredibly fun about seeing heroes and villains from completely different universes interact! When a talented team is behind it, it’s not just a gimmick – it’s a genuinely great story. Honestly, the twenty years DC and Marvel spent apart didn’t benefit either company. But now that they’re collaborating, it’s fantastic – the fans are thrilled, and so are the people actually making these comics!
The recent team-up between DC and Marvel is generating huge excitement among fans online. This collaboration has revitalized both comic book universes, and it’s something they should definitely continue to explore. With more crossovers planned, fans are hoping DC and Marvel have even bigger and better surprises in store.
