We keep saying it, and it’s worth repeating: The Expanse: Osiris Reborn feels like the next best thing to a new Mass Effect game.
Well, until the new Mass Effect comes out, but we’re still waiting on even a glimpse of that project.
This sci-fi RPG, created by the team at OwlCat Games known for the genre, features third-person shooting with a focus on using cover. It’s based on The Expanse, a popular series of books that was also adapted into a TV show.
Osiris Reborn features a unique story and characters you’ll connect with through conversations and choices.
I was really hoping we’d get this game this year, but it looks like we’re going to have to wait a little longer. The new gameplay trailer I just saw (check it out above!) says it’s now coming in spring 2027 on PS5.
