Photos taken from the set show the Batmobile—which has a few updated features and is now equipped with snow tires—driving through snowy weather. Director Matt Reeves also shared Batman comic book art featuring a blizzard, hinting that work on the upcoming sequel is really getting underway.
When a fan inquired if a recent clip showed footage from the next movie, Reeves confirmed it with a simple, “Sure is!” He also acknowledged a fan’s long-held wish to see Batman in a snowy setting, replying, “Indeed, it is.”

- Colin Farrell — Oz Cobb / The Penguin

While Warner Bros. hasn’t officially revealed the cast, reports suggest Zoe Kravitz likely won’t be returning. The wintry backdrop has led fans to wonder if Mr. Freeze will appear, but neither Reeves nor the studio has confirmed any villain details yet.
