Meadow Walker Honors Dad Paul Walker 12 Years After His Death

Paul Walker’s memory lives on 12 years after his tragic death.

Meadow Walker, daughter of the Fast and Furious actor, shared a heartfelt message remembering her father on the anniversary of his death. He tragically died in a car accident on November 30, 2013, at the age of 40.

On Instagram, 27-year-old Meadow shared some old photos from one of her childhood birthday parties. The pictures show her sitting on a kitchen counter with her dad, Paul, who is holding a flower-shaped cake with four candles. One photo captures them about to kiss, and another shows Meadow smiling at the camera while Paul lovingly looks at her.

“12 years without you,” she wrote alongside the photos. “I love you forever.”

Meadow Walker, daughter of the late Paul Walker and Rebecca Soteros, is continuing her father’s philanthropic work. She started the Paul Walker Foundation in 2015, a nonprofit that focuses on protecting wildlife and the oceans, inspired by her father’s interest in marine biology during his college years.

Meadow has also talked about her close relationship with her father. Last September, for his 50th birthday, she wrote a touching message calling him her “guardian angel.” He’s known for his role in the film Into the Blue.

She shared on Instagram how grateful she was for everything her parent had given her – their love, support, friendship, and the way they always brought positivity into her life. She described them as incredibly kind, down-to-earth, generous, and caring, and said they instilled in her the importance of respect, kindness, and protecting the environment. It’s clear Paul and Vin were more than just Fast & Furious co-stars. 

A sweet photo showed a father and daughter playing together. Meadow shared the picture on Instagram in May 2020, calling it her “happy place.”

Meadow shared a never-before-seen video of her surprising dad Paul. 

In April 2020, Meadow shared a simple message: “Be good, I love you, and stay safe. xx” She explained she hadn’t planned to share it, but it felt like the right thing to do.

Paul smiled next to his daughter in a heartwarming old photo. Meadow shared the picture on September 12, 2019, with the caption, “Happy birthday to the loveliest soul I’ll ever know.”
