Megan Thee Stallion is focusing on getting better.
Following a medical incident during the March 31st performance of Moulin Rouge!, the 31-year-old performer provided more details about what happened to her.
I realized I need to prioritize my health after a scary experience last night,” she shared on Instagram April 1. “I’ve been overdoing it and completely exhausted, and my body finally forced me to stop. I was actually afraid I was going to pass out while performing, but I just didn’t have the strength to finish the show.
Megan explained she needed a day to focus on her well-being and be authentic with her fans. She promised to return to performing on Thursday feeling refreshed, focused, and ready to give her all, expressing gratitude for their continued support and love.
A representative for Megan provided an update on her health following her hospitalization, explaining she was diagnosed with vasoconstriction – a condition where blood vessels narrow, often due to muscle tightening and other causes.
According to a spokesperson, doctors determined that Megan’s symptoms were caused by severe exhaustion, dehydration, constricted blood vessels, and a slowed metabolism. She has received treatment, been released from the hospital, and is currently resting.
Megan’s representative said she deeply appreciates all the prayers and support she’s received, and she’s excited to return to her role as Zidler in Moulin Rouge on Thursday.

Megan shared in a statement on February 26th that she’s thrilled to be joining the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway. She said she’s always looking for ways to challenge herself creatively, and she’s excited about this new opportunity in theater.
Performing on Broadway requires a much higher level of dedication, practice, and skill in bringing a story to life,” she explained, saying she’s excited to take it on.
About a month later, when the artist Megan performed on stage, she achieved her dream and received enthusiastic applause.
The official website for Moulin Rouge! has confirmed that Megan Thee Stallion (born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) will not be performing at the 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM shows on April 1st.
Megan Thee Stallion is taking a short break from the Broadway show just days after starting her role on March 24th. She’s the first woman to play the nightclub owner, a part previously played by Jim Broadbent in the 2001 film Moulin Rouge! and Bob the Drag Queen on Broadway.
For the Grammy winner, the opportunity to try something new was too tempting to resist.

Robert Downey Jr. has traded in his Marvel role for the stage, recently making his Broadway debut in Ayad Akhtar’s McNeal. The play centers on Jacob McNeal, a writer facing a terminal diagnosis who is unexpectedly awarded the Nobel Prize. Despite strongly disliking artificial intelligence, he considers using AI to help him write one final, groundbreaking novel.
As for why the Iron-Man star decided to hit the stage in the Bartlett Sher-directed production?
Speaking with Vogue in October 2024, he described the new play as tackling a relevant and important topic, praising both the creative team and the actors, including Bart. He noted that Ayad, the playwright, has a unique style of presenting opposing ideas within the same line of dialogue, constantly challenging and undermining his previous statements with new ones.
Before starting his new role, Robert reached out to Bradley Cooper – a fellow Marvel actor who received a Tony Award nomination for his 2015 performance in The Elephant Man – for guidance.
Robert remembered telling someone, ‘Just remember you’ll be aware of your own body – you’ll feel your feet in your shoes – when you’re on stage. The audience will feel supportive, like a soft cushion.’ He told The Independent that he thought this was a good mindset, so he decided to approach the situation like Bradley Cooper and allow himself to fully experience it.

Whitney Leavitt quickly transitioned from competing on Dancing With the Stars – where she was eliminated in November 2025 – to performing on Broadway in Chicago. Originally scheduled to play Roxie Hart for six weeks until March 2026, strong ticket sales led to her run being extended through April.
Whitney is popular for her bubbly personality on the Hulu reality show she stars in alongside Taylor Frankie Paul, Mayci Neeley, and other social media moms. But before becoming a reality TV personality, Whitney was a dedicated dancer who trained at Brigham Young University in Utah and always hoped to perform on stage.
She told Playbill in March 2026 that a love of performing has always been a core part of who she is. As a child, she enjoyed making up dances and staging mini music videos for her family, often gathering her cousins to put on shows for the adults.
And yet she still had nerves about taking her dance skills from TikTok to the Great White Way.
In a video posted to Instagram in February 2026, she shared how overwhelmed she was feeling. She explained that performing solo in front of a live audience was a new and nerve-wracking experience. After a lot of preparation, she hoped she’d feel comfortable and confident when she took the stage, and that everything would come naturally. Ultimately, she just wanted to rely on her own abilities.

As a lifelong observer of style and reinvention, I have to say, Pamela Anderson absolutely killed it on Broadway! Stepping into the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago felt incredibly natural for her, and honestly, the story really resonated with her own journey. She did a fantastic two-month run, wrapping up in June 2022, and proved she’s a true triple threat.
She told TopMob News in April that she’d lived a full and eventful life, with plenty of both good times and challenges. She admitted she never understood the purpose of her past experiences, but now realizes they were preparing her for something bigger than she ever expected.
She saw a relatable mix of vulnerability and resilience in Roxie. ‘Like Roxie, I understand facing difficulties with humor and dignity, thinking quickly on your feet, and being misrepresented by the media,’ she explained. ‘But ultimately, she finds a way to transform even the worst situations into something positive and meaningful.’
Although the former Baywatch star was enthusiastic, she understood she had a lot of preparation to do before she could convincingly play Roxie and wear the character’s famous fringed dress.
She confessed she’d never pushed herself so hard, but she was thriving on it. She loved the demanding rehearsals and the feeling of satisfaction that came with being completely exhausted at the end of the day. She was learning everything she could, absorbing the experience fully. She’d always dreamed of being a performer, but never believed it would actually happen.
And the former Playboy model admitted she was surprised to be cast in the role.
Honestly, it still feels a little surreal that they chose me, but I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity. It definitely feels like a risk, both for them and for me! But singing takes so much more than just feeling – it’s a skill you have to build, like a muscle. And I’m really pushing myself and learning so much with every practice. I can already feel myself getting stronger, not just as a singer, but as a performer too.

Tom Felton captivated audiences for 19 weeks as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, returning to the role as an adult version of the character.
Nearly two decades after the Battle of Hogwarts, the story centers on an unlikely friendship. Albus Severus Potter, son of Harry and Ginny, and Scorpius Malfoy, Draco’s son, both find themselves in Slytherin house at Hogwarts.
It feels surreal,” Tom shared on Today in June 2025, before the show even premiered. “I keep expecting to wake up! I played this character 16 years ago, and now I get to revisit him – this time as a father – in a completely new story.”
Despite appearing in all eight Harry Potter movies as the well-known villain, the actor admitted he wasn’t quite as captivating on stage.
As a longtime fan, it’s amazing to see how this play really stands on its own, separate from the Harry Potter movies I loved as a kid. It feels different now – we’ve all grown up! I’m revisiting a role I adore, but it’s also like stepping into completely new and uncharted territory, because honestly, we’re the parents now, not the kids watching the story unfold.

Charli D’Amelio first gained fame on TikTok, then showcased her dancing on TV with a 2022 appearance on Dancing With the Stars. Now, in October 2024, she’s making her Broadway debut in the musical & Juliet.
The influencer was originally scheduled to finish playing Charmian in January 2025, but her contract was extended two times.
She expressed immense excitement about joining the Broadway scene, something she’s dreamed of since childhood. In a statement released in September 2024, ahead of her year-long engagement, she called making her Broadway debut – and as part of the cast of & Juliet – a dream come true, and shared her eagerness to share the experience with audiences.
Even though it was her Broadway debut, performing a demanding dance role as a member of Shakespeare’s acting troupe felt surprisingly comfortable, thanks to her years of experience.
She shared with ABC7 that November that dance had always been deeply meaningful to her. She explained that it allowed her to express herself when words weren’t enough.
Though, it was still hard to grapple with such a prestigious honor.
Charli, also a winner on Dancing with the Stars, shared that she never imagined she’d be where she is today, admitting she often doubted herself growing up. She expressed deep gratitude to everyone who supported her, especially her mom, who tirelessly drove her to dance classes and competitions, and consistently encouraged her to pursue her dreams, even when she lacked confidence.

Similar to Whitney and Pamela, Ariana Madix was excited to play Roxie Hart in Chicago. The Vanderpump Rules star earned the opportunity after a difficult time – she was asked to perform just nine months after her very public and dramatic split from her former co-star, Tom Sandoval.
Understandably, she described that chapter in her life to TopMob News as “the rollercoaster.”
Ariana, who performed in the musical from January to April and again from August to September in 2024, explained that it was difficult to summarize everything briefly.
For the reality TV personality, this experience allowed her to transform a difficult time into a major achievement.
She’s incredibly emotionally manipulative,” she said about Roxie. “She can be very charming and flattering, but the moment she doesn’t get her way, she’ll quickly turn on you.

Julianne Hough dreamed of performing on Broadway, but she wanted to wait for the perfect role. When she came across the play POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, she felt it was exactly what she’d been waiting for.
As a lifestyle expert, I was so impressed with Alfonso Ribeiro’s role in ‘POTUS’ on Broadway! He starred alongside a truly incredible cast – Rachel Dratch, Vanessa Williams, Julie White, Lilli Cooper, and Lea DeLaria. He played Dusty, part of the team trying to manage a very controversial president’s public image. It was a hilarious show about seven women working tirelessly to keep their boss out of trouble, and it ran from April to August 2022.
She mentioned talks about performing on Broadway, but in an interview with TopMob News in May 2022, she explained she didn’t want it to be just a one-time achievement. She wanted to truly become involved with the Broadway community, learn from others, and contribute meaningfully, rather than just making a brief appearance.

Growing up, Nicole Scherzinger always dreamed of being a star, and she definitely achieved a lot as the frontwoman of The Pussycat Dolls – she got to travel the world and enjoy all the perks that come with fame. But for me, it was truly amazing to see her take on the role of Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard starting in October 2024. That’s when I really felt like her dream had come full circle, and she absolutely shone on stage until July 2025.
Nicole, the 2025 Tony Award winner for Best Actress in a Musical, explained to TopMob News that she always felt unfulfilled. ‘I never felt like I was truly living my purpose or happy with who I was,’ she said. ‘I knew I had more to offer, and this role finally allowed me to fully express myself. It’s been life-changing, and I’m incredibly grateful.’
