Megan Thee Stallion is a huge anime fan and often shows it through her fashion choices. She’s previously created outfits inspired by popular series like Hunter x Hunter, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and My Hero Academia. While she’s referenced Jujutsu Kaisen before – even dressing as the character Gojo during a trip to Japan – this year, her Halloween costume is a nod to the anime’s upcoming third season. Since Gojo is currently trapped, Megan is choosing a different sorcerer to celebrate this year.
Megan Thee Stallion revealed her Halloween costume for 2025 on Instagram, dressing up as Choso from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen. Choso is a complex character who recently discovered a family connection to the main character, Yuji Itadori. He’s expected to be a key player in the upcoming third season of the show, helping Yuji as he faces danger from all sides. The two are now working together after learning they’re half-brothers. Megan perfectly captured Choso’s unique look, created by artist Gege Akutami.
Jujutsu Kaisen And Halloween

Although Jujutsu Kaisen never had a dedicated Halloween episode, the entire Shibuya Incident Arc unfolded on October 31st. A spell trapped most of the city, and many people died while wearing their costumes as villains like Choso, Mahito, and Suguru Geto wreaked havoc. These innocent deaths were intentional, part of a larger scheme to contain Gojo, a powerful sorcerer who had been a constant problem for the villains. Now that Gojo is out of the picture, the upcoming Culling Game will be the most perilous period for all sorcerers.
You won’t believe this, but Megan Thee Stallion isn’t just a huge anime fan – she’s actually creating her own anime! She let us know back in 2024 that it’s a work in progress, saying she got a little side-tracked with music, but it is happening. We don’t know much about the story or what to expect yet, but knowing how much Megan loves anime, I have a feeling this is going to be something really special – I’m definitely keeping an eye out for updates!
The manga Jujutsu Kaisen finished its run last year, but the creator, Gege Akutami, still had more stories to tell. Right now, Shonen Jump is publishing chapters for the sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo, which adds aliens to the world. Although it hasn’t been officially announced, it’s likely that Modulo will also be adapted into an anime, just like the original series.
