I was so inspired by Harry and Meghan’s recent night out! They attended Project Healthy Minds’ gala in New York City on October 9th, and it was truly special. Not only did they have a lovely date night, but they were also recognized with the Humanitarians of the Year Award for all the incredible work they’re doing through their Archewell Foundation. It’s wonderful to see them using their platform to champion mental health and make a real difference.

Meghan looked stylish for the event in a black suit, paired with a black handbag, a gold necklace, and diamond earrings. Prince Harry, father to Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, matched her in a black suit, white shirt, and black and white tie.

Almost three weeks before their gala for Project Healthy Minds, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the One805LIVTopMob 2025 concert. The event, a fundraiser for first responders, was held at the California home of actor Kevin Costner.

Harry and Meghan recently enjoyed a night out at a gala, one of a few dates they’ve had lately. Prince Harry has also been focusing on family matters, including a recent reunion with his father, King Charles III, on September 10th – their first meeting in nearly two years.

After the meeting, Harry, age 40, shared in an interview with *The Guardian* on September 14th that his main priority for the next year would be his father.

He also shared his hope to bring his children, Archie and Lilibet, to visit the King in the U.K., especially after the King’s recent cancer diagnosis announcement last year. He believes recent events have made that visit more likely.

In May, after a court rejected his plea to get his U.K. security reinstated, he openly discussed his difficult relationship with his family and expressed optimism that things could improve.

Oh my gosh, he actually *said* he wants to make things right with his family! I was listening to the BBC interview, and he just… he said it! It was so emotional. He basically admitted that all the fighting isn’t worth it, that life is just too short and precious to waste on that stuff. I’m seriously tearing up, I’ve been hoping for this for so long! It’s like a weight has been lifted, just hearing him say he wants reconciliation. It’s amazing.

He added that he wasn’t sure how much longer his father would be around. They weren’t speaking due to disagreements about security, but he hoped they could fix things.

And it seems, with their congenial meeting in September, they could be heading down that road.

I was absolutely losing it when I saw the photos – they looked incredible! It was such a huge moment, and I’m still buzzing about it!

A representative for Ferguson stated the email was sent following a threat made against her by Epstein.

After a 19-month absence, Prince Harry was spotted arriving at Clarence House—the King’s home in London—likely to visit his father before attending another event in the city.

As a lifestyle expert, I understand the importance of timing, and it’s interesting to note that Harry arrived at the residence around 5:20 p.m. on September 10th. However, his father, Charles, had actually returned home just a few hours prior to his arrival.

Princess Anne’s son and his former husband, Mark Phillips, announced on August 1st that he will marry his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling. The couple had been dating for over a year.

The couple’s representative told Hello! magazine that both families were told together about the engagement and were very happy about it.

Just a day before turning 78, the royal was made an honorary Vice Admiral by the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy.

Camilla is the first woman to receive this honorary title. It’s awarded solely by the monarch—in this instance, her husband, King Charles III—based on a recommendation from the First Sea Lord, currently Sir Gwyn Jenkins.

Just hours before she was scheduled to attend, Princess Kate cancelled her appearance at Royal Ascot, the annual horse race. Kensington Palace confirmed the news to NBC News.

The palace said Kate was sad to miss the event, but is still working out how to best manage her public appearances as she recovers from cancer.

Prince Harry’s lawsuit seeking extra security ended on May 2nd when a court dismissed it. This came more than a year after a previous request for increased protection was denied by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee.

As a longtime supporter, I understand that when Harry and Meghan decided to step down as senior royals and move to the US in 2021, their official security arrangements changed. But since then, Harry has still asked for protection whenever he’s returned to the UK, which I think is completely reasonable given his position.

Prince Harry told the BBC on May 2nd that he was deeply upset by the outcome of his recent legal fight. He added that, as things stand, he doesn’t foresee returning to the UK with his wife and children.

More than a year after announcing his cancer diagnosis, King Charles wrote on April 29th that going through treatment has highlighted the kindness and strength of people around him.

In a booklet offering support to cancer patients, Charles wrote that receiving a diagnosis is understandably scary for both individuals and their families. However, drawing from his own experience, he shared that it can also reveal incredible kindness and strength in people.

He expressed his gratitude to the healthcare workers who cared for him, and shared that the experience reinforced his deep admiration for the incredible work done by the organizations and people present, many of whom he’s known and supported for years.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – were absent from the royal family’s traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on April 20th.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla joined the rest of the royal family in celebrations, but Prince William and Kate chose to spend the weekend at their country home in Norfolk with their children, according to several news sources.

This was the second Easter the couple missed. It happened just a week after Princess Catherine shared her cancer diagnosis.

On April 15th, Jason Knauf was named the new CEO of The Earthshot Prize, Prince William’s environmental organization. In a statement on the organization’s website, Knauf expressed his excitement about collaborating with the team and the Earthshot community to further their goal of finding optimistic solutions for the planet.

I’ve been following this story closely, and it’s fascinating to see how things unfold. I was absolutely gutted to hear about Graham Craker. He was one of the royal family’s bodyguards – can you believe he actually protected Harry and William?! It’s so sad; he passed away in April at 77. I always felt so secure knowing someone like him was looking out for them, and now he’s gone. It just doesn’t seem real.

Prince Frederik, the son of Prince Robert and Princess Julie, passed away on March 1st at the age of 22 after a struggle with a rare genetic condition called PolG mitochondrial disease.

Robert shared in a statement that Frederik is a superhero to him, their family, and countless friends. Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, reached a legal settlement with News Group Newspapers—the publisher of both *The Sun* and the now-closed *News of the World*—on January 22nd. He had sued the organization in 2019, claiming that journalists and investigators working for its newspapers illegally obtained information about the royal family.

According to NBC News, the settlement involved the company paying a significant amount in damages and offering Harry a complete and sincere apology. They also publicly admitted to the widespread and deeply invasive coverage of both his life and the life of his mother, Princess Diana.

On January 14th, The Princess of Wales shared the wonderful news that her cancer treatment has been successful and she is now in remission.

She shared on X (formerly Twitter) on January 14th that she’s grateful to be in remission and is continuing to focus on getting better. She added that, like anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, it’s taking time to adjust to life afterward.

She added that she was excited about the year ahead and optimistic about what it would bring.

Oh my gosh, I’m absolutely heartbroken for Meghan! Apparently, her sweet rescue beagle, the one she adopted way back in 2015 – even *before* she met Prince Harry, can you believe it? – just passed away. I mean, she clearly adored that little pup, and I’m just devastated for her. It’s like losing a family member, you know?

On January 7th, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about her sadness. She described crying so much that she’d often stand in the shower, hoping the water would wash away her pain, even though she knew it wouldn’t. She acknowledged that it was okay to feel those emotions.

Meghan fondly remembered her beloved Guy, saying, “Thank you for always loving me, and for bringing so much joy to my life.”

 

Edward Pettifer, the stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke (also known as Alexandra Pettifer), was a victim of the terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.

Prince William and Catherine were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Ed Pettifer. In a message shared on Kate Middleton’s Instagram on January 4th, Prince William said their thoughts are with the Pettifer family and everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.

Meghan Markle, known for her role in the TV show *Suits*, launched a new Instagram account on January 1st. She had previously closed her personal social media accounts just before marrying Prince Harry in 2018.

The next day, she revealed a new Netflix series called *With Love, Meghan*. A press release described it as a fresh take on lifestyle shows, combining helpful tips and honest chats with both familiar and new friends.

In June 2025, Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted at Wimbledon with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, for a special public appearance.
