Meghan Trainor Reacts to Ashley Tisdale’s “Toxic” Mom Group Drama

Meghan Trainor’s lips are moving when it comes to the toxic mom group drama.

Following Ashley Tisdale’s widely shared essay in The Cut about ending a friendship with a difficult moms’ group, Meghan – who used to be friends with Tisdale and included her in the group – appeared to offer her thoughts on the situation.

In a TikTok video posted on January 8th, Meghan acted out being surprised while pretending to type, with a caption that read, “Me discovering the drama within the mom group.”

Meghan, who shares 4-year-old Riley and 2-year-old Barry with her husband, Daryl Sabara, used her new song, “Still Don’t Care,” as a backdrop, letting the music speak for itself.

The song starts with the lines, ‘Just give me a minute to consider, it doesn’t affect me,’ followed by a repeated, ‘I still don’t care. Let me think it over once more, but no, I still don’t care.’

Adding to her playful banter, Meghan captioned the post with a series of tea emojis.

Ashley, now using the name French for work, recently shared her experience of feeling lonely and let down by her old friends after becoming a mom. She questioned if those friendships were as strong as she once thought.

She ended things with the women by text, telling them the drama felt like high school and she wanted no more involvement.

An essay sparked controversy by mentioning photos Ashley had taken with several Los Angeles moms, including Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff. However, Ashley’s representative told TMZ on January 5th that her comments were misinterpreted. Ashley is mom to Jupiter, 4, and Emerson, 16 months, with Christopher French. TopMob News reached out for comment but didn’t receive a response.

While other mothers haven’t spoken up yet, Hilary’s husband, Matthew Koma, has shown he’s completely supportive of her.

He responded by posting a mock magazine cover on his Instagram, copying her pose. The fake article poked fun at her recent essay, titled “When You’re The Most Self-Obsessed Tone-Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers,” with the tagline, “A Mom Group Tell-All Through A Father’s Eyes.”

Alongside the fake mag, he quipped in the Jan. 6 post,  “Read my new interview with @thecut.”

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is pictured second from left.)

Let me be clear: Tan and I are doing okay. We recently went through a personal situation – something that was building for a while between us – but it’s completely separate from the show. And just to address any speculation, it wasn’t a romantic issue, just a private matter we needed to work through.

In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.

Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately earned it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by having another actor removed from consideration, as he explained in an Instagram post.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that actor Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a very rude and unpleasant person.

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed upset during his 2014 appearance on The Talk after she mispronounced his name.

I remember this young guy questioning my experience, basically asking me who I was and what I’d accomplished. Honestly, my response was pretty fierce! I told him, in no uncertain terms, that he had no idea who he was talking to and that I wouldn’t hesitate to completely shut him down. It was a ‘you don’t want to mess with me’ kind of moment, let me tell you!

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris clashed with Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, posted on August 23rd, Brittany thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoyed being feminine.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d ever met, saying Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized, admitting she had hurt Siwa’s feelings when she was younger and saying, “I’m so sorry, JoJo!”

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she said it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for her band Hole in a promotional photo without giving proper credit. Olivia responded with a supportive message, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome! My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained the reason for his difficult relationship with the Forrest Gump star while filming their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.

I directed the film for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, told me to pack up and go home, saying I had everything I needed, according to him.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Those who watched The Hills likely remember a famous line spoken by Lauren at the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating her future husband, Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler involving a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was moved to April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced for 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the long-standing disagreement with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that he still hasn’t spoken to Johnson directly, though they plan to talk. He did, however, speak with one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not with Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations he’d heard from others connected to the franchise, saying he took responsibility for speaking out when he shouldn’t have. He called it unprofessional and ‘not cool’.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which supposedly began due to a dispute over a dancer and competition during their concert tours, was resolved when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.

Taylor shared on Instagram that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed remarks about her co-star.

During a September 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.

She was really upset about something, saying she felt heartbroken. They had talked about it all week, and she explained that she remembered things differently than the other person did, and it bothered her a lot.

It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the shared experience we had. It started as a professional project, but over the years it became something deeply personal. I hope that strong connection will outweigh any recent disagreements. Being part of something special for so long, and having that resonate with people, is a real privilege.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award at the Q Awards that year, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously said, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous!” and went on to question her use of lip-syncing, suggesting anyone who lip-syncs for a paying audience should face serious consequences.

The actress, formerly on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to not be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think her storylines that season were strong enough to deserve a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine Heigl’s departure in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was a little hurtful, but not entirely unexpected. “When someone shows you their true colors, you should pay attention,” Rhimes explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart, and it’s helped me a lot.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week made headlines everywhere. A month later, Cardi explained what started the argument with Nicki.

Cardi B recently told W magazine that someone has been repeatedly criticizing her. She explained that she’d talked to this person twice and thought they’d resolved the issue, but the criticism continued.

The conflict truly escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had reportedly liked, then unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting. Nicki has stated she didn’t actually interact with the tweet.

I was set to earn a huge amount of money from my Bruno Mars tour, but I chose to stay home with my daughter instead,” Cardi B explained. “I love my daughter, and I’m a really good mom. It’s frustrating when people without kids criticize my choices. Everyone says the party wasn’t the right place to see another artist, but I don’t expect to run into someone famous at the grocery store or just walking around town.

As a lifestyle observer, I remember the initial spark between Kanye and Taylor back in 2009 – it was quite a moment at the VMAs when he interrupted her acceptance speech. They actually managed to patch things up and even became friends for a while, which was lovely to see. Unfortunately, that good relationship really fell apart in 2026 after Kanye released his song ‘Famous,’ which included a mention of Taylor, and things just weren’t the same after that.

Just before the Grammy Awards in February 2025, Kanye West began following Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Taylor Swift hasn’t publicly acknowledged it.

“I don’t know her.”

The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview when Mariah was asked about various singers, and when asked about Jennifer Lopez, she famously stated, “I don’t know her.”
