Melissa and Joe Gorga Share Update on Teresa Giudice Reconciliation

Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga’s family is getting more than just a sprinkle of holiday cheer.

The stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey shared good news about rebuilding their relationship with Teresa Giudice, after not speaking to her for many years.

Melissa shared with TopMob News at a New York City screening of The Housemaid on December 2nd that things are going well. “We’ve made a lot of progress, and everything is good,” she said.

Before the movie comes out in theaters on December 19th, Teresa Giudice, 46, shared that the Giudice and Gorga families are bringing back a beloved holiday tradition as a way to celebrate reconnecting after years of not being close.

We’re hosting Christmas Eve at my place this year, so we’ll all be together here,” she said. “It’s funny how things work out, you just never know what might happen!”

Melissa and Joe’s relationship with Teresa, 53, has had its ups and downs, something fans have seen play out on their reality show. Things became especially strained when they chose not to attend Teresa’s wedding to Luis Ruelas in August 2022, but Joe, 51, is now happy that they’ve been able to rebuild their family connection.

“Everyone says it’s baby steps,” he told TopMob, “but no, we’re back to normal.”

After a long period of conflict, Joe—father to Antonia, 20, Gino, 18, and Joey Jr., 15, with Melissa—realized something important: “The key to happiness is forgiveness.”

Teresa appears to believe in the same idea. She took the first step towards making peace with her brother, even after competing against her daughter, Gia Giudice, on the show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

Teresa explained to TopMob News at BravoCon 2025 last month that her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, wanted her to move on from past issues. She said thinking about letting go reminded her of her brother, and her biggest wish is to rebuild their relationship.

Teresa, who is also a mother to Gabriella (21), Milania (19), and Audriana (16), feels the same way, saying she wants Melissa and her children to remain a part of her life.
