Mercedes Javid Reveals Where She & Tommy Feight Stand Amid Divorce

Mercedes “MJ” Javid‘s breakup from Tommy Feight is anything but bitter.

Almost a month after filing for divorce from her husband of seven years, the former star of Shahs of Sunset has shared an update on their relationship following the separation.

Okay, so I was completely losing it at BravoCon, but I finally got to hear MJ talk! She told Erin Lim Rhodes – and I was there, you guys! – that she still loves Tommy. Like, seriously loves him! She said they’ll always be a family, and honestly, I think she meant it. She even included little Shams in that ‘always’ – she said the future is going to be amazing for all of them: Tommy, her, and our sweet Shams. I’m just… obsessed with their whole dynamic, and I really hope they all find happiness!

Viewers will get an inside look at what caused the couple’s divorce when the new Bravo series, The Valley: Persian Style, premieres in January.

Let me tell you, from what we’ve seen, MJ isn’t holding back when it comes to expressing how she feels about her soon-to-be ex-husband. She’s definitely letting her frustrations be known!

In the trailer, MJ confessed she wasn’t feeling happy. Her mother, Vida, responded by saying it’s hard to change someone’s ways – essentially, ‘you can’t teach an old dog new tricks’.

During a difficult lunch, Vida cautioned her son-in-law about problems in his marriage, telling him, “She’s unhappy.” Tommy responded angrily, saying, “Then she should get a divorce.”

As MJ shared with TopMob at BravoCon, everything is fair game on The Valley: Persian Style, including the struggles in her own marriage.

We’ll hold each other accountable, and we need to confront whatever challenges come our way,” the 53-year-old explained to TopMob.

Reza Farahan, who starred alongside [the subject], believes fans will be happy to see what they’ve been up to since Shahs of Sunset ended in 2022.

My daughters, MJ and Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi, are now grown with families of their own. We’ve entered a new chapter in our lives, but it still includes plenty of the fun, familiar drama and Persian culture we’ve always shared – we’re all living in the Los Angeles area now.
